If Marble Hornets released a bunch of entries close together, the quality of the videos would suck. Season 1's entries may have been short, but they were great, due to the fact that they were very short compared to the newer entries. They were able to do that back then, but now they can't. There is too much to shoot. So let's stop pressuring them to get the videos out quickly. K thx

Yeah, don't you all know that it takes at least 2 weeks to shoot even a minor scene? It just can't be done in any less time.

Haha, well, I'll agree with you on the fact that Entry #70 could have been shot easily and with little to no time to invest. But they may have taken more time to actually write the dialoge between Alex and Amy or had multiple shoots, etc.

I'd assume that scheduling it so that Troy, Joseph, and whoever played Operator could all meet up for at least one night shoot consumed most of the time. We already knew those guys all operated (har har) on different schedules. I know, people hate the "they do have lives" response, but, well, they still do.

Plus, I don't know how long it takes (or how many takes it takes) to shoot a driving scene at night where there's an extended conversation with no cutaways, but why are we assuming "not that long (or many)"?

I don't know about you guys, but I was just joking, saying that some Entries need the time and others don't.

Entry 70 I can see fitting into either category, depending on whether or not conditions (schedules, weather, other cars, etc.) cooperate.

But I believe it was produced fairly quickly, was it not?

It might have been. However, if Joseph flubbed a line, they'd have to start the whole conversation in the car over again and that was a pretty damn long conversation. :V

Laughing

Reminds me in the S1 DVD commentary, they're talking about Entry 2.. And how they had to keep redoing it because Joseph wasn't getting his lines done before they hit part of the road where a store was visible or something like that.

Really hope this gets posted in the next 90 minutes, because this building I'm in closes at 11pm eastern.

Failing that, I'll definitely have a new entry to watch when I return here in the morning.

He is on the run from Alex and revealed his location two entries ago.
