My general thought is that skully was a proto-masky, still Tim but not in his current form.

Skully could be anything. Just some random scariness, or a proto-Hoody, or a character from an earlier draft who they abandoned. He could still come back, but until they formally introduce such a character into the series, it's best to assume he probably won't. (That said, if he does come back, my money's on him being Jay.)

A thought occurs to me. These past two tweets suggest that the next entry will be a TTA hijack a la 68, but the unspoilery screenshot seemed to suggest a Jay and Tim entry. Seems to me that something happened to Tim and Jay and TTA will be uploading their footage (albeit possibly alongside his own footage.) Or something like that.

Another thing, Tim is wearing the chest cam in the unspoilerly screenshot, you can see the straps go over his shoulders. That gives us at least two cameras involved. Perhaps Entry #73 will closely follow.
