I would LOVE to visit Vancouver for ARGFest III, but not 4th of July weekend (sigh). Can't get that time off work.

I have to admit... it may make it a little easier for me to get "permission" if the trip weren't on a "family" holiday....

I sense a trend away from the weekend of the 4th (or the 1st) - pushing us toward the end of the month, like the 24th-25th or even the 31st-1st. Or maybe even June 26-27. Would any of those work better? I'd be afraid of conflicting with real family vacations with the later dates.

Just to point out for those who need to have it around holidays with the obligatory day off... If we push later, the next US holiday is Labor Day in the first week of September (My b-day holiday), if we push for earlier, that would be Memorial Day at the end of May. The big question is, which of those would not conflict with Jamesi's (and other education tied members) class schedule?
