Ohaipuzzle! Anyone know about this? I was on the red line in Boston yesterday and where there would usually be an advertisemnt was just a giant QR Code . So I scanned it with my phone and it took me here: http://www.ohaipuzzle.com/
I can't find any information on it. Any ideas?

loading the page includes the HTTP request header X-Encode, with

Yep, it's not an ARG.
I've just confirmed they are indeed hiring.
Oh, and that's the only puzzle.
I don't want to spoil anyone so go ahead and figure out the second part.
It's really easy.
Too bad I'm from South America. That's certainly a nice way to feed my curiosity about such a workplace.
ps. the answer should be sent in caps, just in case.

Just one clue? You say it's easy... but I got this far and I think I'm looking way beyond the mark. The grid is 26x11 so I think there's one letter that's supposed to be selected on each line. And there's a really-common word 11 letters long that starts with C that goes with the name of the website. But I don't get how to actually get that word from the grid, and I don't get how to calculate the UUID.

You are right about selecting 11 letters.. To do that, you need 11 things, right? One for each row. What else do you have that has something to do with 11? You don't need any new info for that.
About the UUID, that's the hex-string you already have (from the previous step). You can google what's missing.

ah, got it finally after an epiphany.
ETA: also, moved this to timewasters (not because it's a waste of time, heh, but because it's a puzzle, not an arg, and that's generally where we put them; for FUN wastes of time, relatively speaking )

Hey thebruce ! Obviously I am not a qualified candidate LOL! But at the risk of sounding foolish, can you tell me where you found this... or how to look for request headers like this?

If you're using Firefox, Firebug is a great tool for viewing some of this stuff as well.
That said, I do have the word, understand the UUID and know what the numbers are references to. But how do you "make it so"? I'm obviously not qualified, either

Another task that HTTP Analyzer is useful for

So there are 11 letters in "FIND THE WORD", not counting spaces. But I tried looking up the 6th letter of the first row (F), the 9th letter of the second row (I), etc. -- no go. I looked for something 11-ish in the UUID, can't see anything. And the UUID keeps changing, as does the grid of letters, without an obvious pattern, and with no overlap between different grids... mystified. The only other 11-related thing I can see that was suggested above was my implied suggestion of "CHEEZBURGER".
