Sorry for jumping into this without having the full background yet but does the giant monkey have any significance?

Specifically at the end of the episode he grabs Mulligan while he is yelling, "he thinks I'm a woman!!!". They then run off camera.

This seems to be a reference to King Kong? It is probably a stretch but King Kong did steal a woman and take her to the Empire State building...

You mean the gorilla or guerrilla?

IMO these clues are being over analyzed.....they should work simply like they show us in ep 1.

I'd also like to add that the snake on my path is cut into pieces where it is Smile

For instance, the snake is actually never mentioned, but if you are following the verbal clues correctly, you will see that exact, cut-up diamondback snake on your path (as I have seen, as well as missry and others)

After re-doing research the past week I think the snake is NOT a visual play on a road, store, or a subway line.

no, it is not a visual play, there is ACTUALLY a snake in NYC that looks exactly like that drawing, and you will see it if you actually physically follow the correct path (either by foot or via Google Maps)

Oh,you mean the one in the park in BK? Duh!. I've looked at so many damn parks and so much at New York under the google microscope so long ago that I forgot about that! LOL!

But, I still don't think that is what is supposed to be done with the snake. Reason why because if you take the visuals on Broadway in the Time Square area then there is so much that could be used there as both visuals and play on words. Oh I love the black hearted oozing bugger play on words and the visual on Mulligan's sandwich.

I'm not using the snake as a clue at all! What I'm saying is, that there are enough clues in the audio to point you along the correct trail, even if you completely ignore the snake drawing. But, it turns out that, if you follow that trail, you will actually pass by that snake!

This is one of the many examples of how this puzzle is so well put together: by themselves, a lot of things in the videos make no sense, but, if you're standing in the right spot (or walking down the right street, or taking the right subway line), it all clicks perfectly.

Don't assume that they had to use difficult encodings to make this puzzle difficult... the best "difficult" puzzles have really easy solutions, it's just that you weren't looking at them the right way (or weren't focusing on the right parts). The solution to this hunt is clean and simple, I am sure of it, no big leaps in lateral thinking are required. Again, look back to the first few episodes, the path is spelled out rather plainly, it doesn't get much harder than that.

Are there monkey bars at the playground where the snake is? Or is that a stretch? Not sure if it matters either way - just thinking out loud here.

Not sure have to check again. Monkey is also used as a slang for children. Parents say 'Come here you little monkey' because they are all over the place.

Yip, just like the lamposts in episode 1. Tom's numbers are quite meaningless by themselves, but when you walk the path, you see the numbers!

Some Times

Some times to follow the way you must avoid the way you've known.

From where I was sitting at the end of episode 6, I had exactly two possible ways to go, and one of them leads directly back to a previous landmark on the path. Again, it's one of those "Aha!" moments where the clue gets its meaning if you're standing in the right place, but otherwise doesn't tell you anything about where you should be... it's the only way they can force you to actually watch and figure out the whole series.

A couple of notes about decoding ep. 6 (and the series in general):

- whenever they explicitly talk about "ports", "docks", "on the ship", "off the ship", maybe they are referring to various parts of the subway?

- forget about the episodes and think of simple coding/decoding techniques. What are some techniques that you haven't used in your solution yet? For example, look at words you employ rarely and you might find a career. Maybe this technique could be used, with the help of General Anesthetic, to help you figure out what stands between them and their destination?

I thought of that. In the episodes the captain does mention parts of a ship a lot.

I don't want to ask for an answer, but can you at least clearly state that when you refer to General Anesthetic, you are not referring to anything that may or may not have been shipped from sending a letter to that address?

Look up what the word means. I pretty much have been sitting here with dictionaries to get what the words mean. It really helps to figure out the coding.

my last post was about an encoding technique, i.e., how to hide a message in text. It has nothing to do with what the words mean, or the associated address... just the actual text of the comic book. I gave the extra hint to make sure to look at "General Anesthetic" along with anything else you find Wink

I am dying to know what you have found for black hearted ozzing buggers and Lucifer in a bird suite. If you find it you have to let us know. I know what they are in Time Square.
