I'm pretty sure that the end of the intro was intentional.

That said, in the last ustream, the guys said the only thing they faked was the fake slendy. No distortion.

So I guess it could have been how the video explained it...thus making it probably relevent.

I think the little bit in the Intro video was intentional, just to give a little poke to say "Hey...Slenderman is in the house, keep watching!"

That's how it seemed to me, at least.
