I think the Mike Sofranko name is just a random name to make the ~~story look legitimate~~ . I don't it's avenue we need to look into.

Edit: Actually, his is the actual Mayor of Jim Thorpe, actually.

Oh, I know. It's just such a blatantly specific name. Like, if I came across media with my last name in it, I'd suspect more than simple coincidence. I just recognized the name Mike Sofranko and thought it was funny.

Uh guys, dissecting her name is all very well...

...but isn't anyone worried that Jessie is walking into a blatant trap and the boys aren't doing anything about it? It seems nigh-certain that the Rake went after Rose because of her connection to Jessie. Now Jessie's headed off on her own to go to the funeral. How likely is it that she's going to be intercepted? EXTREMELY LIKELY.

I've tweeted at the boys urging them to get after her and pointing out that it might well be a trap, I urge anyone else who has contact with them to get in touch and point this out too.
