Sorry to distract from the letter discussion, but what's up with the 'Lyn' scrawled on the chest? Anybody else think this is a reference to Jessalyn?

And notice she's at the very center of all the arrows... hmmm. I wonder if her role is more important in all this than just absentee girlfriend. (and if she turns out to be Habit I will fucking cheer)

Not sure this letter is "incriminating", it does put Miningtown Jeff in context with a knife, and does bring out the toy soldier, but doesn't exactly steal the crown from Evan.
Otherwise, wasn't there more in this box? I thought I saw something rapped in black fur. *continues F5 bombing flickr.

are we sure the "man" is really slendy?

Habit called himself "the bad habits of Man", right?

yadayada. I dunno. EPILEPTIC TREES EVERYWHERE.

My gut instinct is that HABIT is aping Slendy's old line now because he arrogantly considers himself SM's equal.

That's what I was thinking as well. It sounds like something HABIT would think.

The 'bad habits of Man' joke is harkening a bit to the Everyman morality play. I'll see what I can dig up from my college notes-- we had to read it in both high school and one of my college courses.

Does anyone want me to talk to my dad about the cards? He read tarot cards professionally for about ten years and still does.

The book and letter were in the bag wrapped in purple tape which is what you saw. I just think Jeff should be added to the Habit suspect list (not that he wasn't already there) or more specifically, bumped up the list with this latest letter. Just my opinion is all.

The only thing left is the book which I am now about to get to. Food was necessary though, as my stomach wasn't having any further delays. I hope I've done an adequate job at all this since it's my first time doing anything like it. When I said last night to my friends and family I was going on a treasure hunt today, I never imagined that I'd really find it! Laughing

You did great, darling.

I thought we'd already seen the Everyman book.

Considering that it's HABIT who is the one supplying these clues, I'm wary of making any "SOnSO is HABIT" claims.

We have anymore info on the coins?

I haven't seen anything here to make me change my initial belief - that HABIT may jump from person to person, but primarily resides in Evan.

Are you sure it says Lyn? I'm having a hard time seeing the 'y' and 'n'.

On another note: Jeffrey's parents are dead in present, any connections to the past? What of having a sister then and a brother now? Either way it's more than a bit depressing.

And has anyone tried reading the layout of the cards as a tarot reading? I would but it's been ages since I last did, and would need a book to do so.

I think that sounds like a good idea - there's only so much one can trust from the Internet. ;D Also, it would be great to have some insight from someone who's actually read the play; just looking over the plot summary, it looks interesting. *considers reading it*

Hmmm, how so, regarding "Jeff as HABIT"? I mean, the only involvement he seems to have in his family's death is being the Sole Survivor of the killings.

Which is frighteningly similar to Centralia-Vincent's own experience with the priest. Didn't he also say that it was "The Man" who killed him?

Yeah, that's true. Looks like Slendy was making a habit of killing off the adults in the MT4's lives. *shot*
