 		You know, I'm firmly of the HABIT is Evan camp, even when acceeding that HABIT can perhaps move to others. But you bring up a good point in light of this new letter. What if they are all HABIT, and Evan is "the Guardian", the fall-guy, frontman type? It's just a tree, but the logic is sound. I'm still "Evan is HABIT but HABIT can change people now and then" camp, but that suggestion did get my mind going.

Yeah, some of us have been considering that for awhile. But I think they're still SM's pawns, regardless.

I am still wondering if our Jeff's memory of a school fire is a false facade for his buried memory of Centralia. In all likelihood, the school is real, it did happen to our Jeff and is some sort of temporal/spiritual parallel to Centralia, but...it's still an idea.

I think that's an idea I'll definitely hold on to.
It seems to fit into Jeff's own personal timeline.

With this new information about Centralia-Jeff's parents, it does look like there's quite a few parallels between his life and that of EMH-Jeff...which probably does not bode well for Alex.

No. No 5/7 or anything 7 related. Actually, there were 7 cards that had writing on it which might play into the book.

Change of plans on the book for now. I am about to post a wall of text with details on the writing in the book and where it is. There is only a line of text at the bottom of every other page throughout EVERYMAN along with something interesting at the beginning.

I will post pictures, but the lighting in my house (with or without the flash)and the way the book keeps folding back to closed has been a great hinderance to progress. Without tearing out the pages and taking a ton more pictures, this is my best option. I really don't want to do that to the book. Enough people have the book or have access to it that I think this is unnecessary save for the important writing.

Also, the choice of the word "voyeur" is very interesting to me. The word almost always has negative connotations, doesn't it? It's usually used to describe Peeping Toms, implying a sort of violation along with the observation.

EDIT: And, early on, Vince did insist the boys keep filming when they wanted to give up on the project. Hm.

Or it could have been him talking to us. Ironic for a Voyeur, but in keeping with Vince's general denial and passivity of late.

A Voyeur also could have set up the camera in Jeff's house.

EVERYMAN Book
Okay, first there are four shorts in the book and they are in order:
Noah's Flood, The Second Shepherd's Play, Everyman, and Hickscorner
On page iii in the description of the book, the words "miracle" and "morality" have a line drawn through them. Further below, the phrase "Noah's Flood" is circled, but there is nothing written in the short story itself, nor in any story other than Everyman.

For the story itself, I will provide reference points for where in the story the writing takes place. There are no weird markings other than at the beginning and end of the story where words are written in [brackets]. If a page is not listed, there is no writing on that page. Capitalization and punctuation is exactly as it appears in the book. In general, there is writing at the bottom of every other page and is just to space things out. I have not had time to read or comprehend the story enough to know otherwise though, but just my thoughts.

In the cast of characters (p 36), three characters have been added. They are THE VOYEUR, THE FIREBRAND, and THE GUARDIAN.

At the TOP of the opposite page (p 37) in the header with the title EVERYMAN is the following quote:

[ENTER THE VOYEUR, THE FIREBRAND, AND THE GUARDIAN]

At the bottom of the page in the Footer is written:
THE VOYEUR SHALL WATCH FROM AN EMOTIONAL DISTANCE, INSISTING UPON MAINTAINING THEIR STRENGTH.

Page 39 has a line in the Footer which reads:
THE FIREBRAND SHALL DISREGARD OBVIOUS DANGER AND ASSUME THE ROLE OF FORCE

Page 41 has a line in the Footer which reads:
THE GUARDIAN SHALL LOSE HIS HEARTAND THEN HIS BLOOD AND FIGHT TO LOSE ALL HE LOVES

Page 43 has a line in the Footer which reads:
THE VOYEUR SHALL REMAIN IDLE TO ALL WHO SEE, HOWEVER BUSY HE MAY BE BENEATH

Page 45 has a line in the Footer which reads:
THE FIREBRAND SHALL LEAD AN OFFENSE AS HE MIGHT, ONLY TO SUCCUMB TO THE WAR WITHIN

Page 47 has a line in the Footer which reads:
THE FIREBRAND SHALL DEFECT AND SELF-IMMOLATE, NO LONGER DEFINING THE TWO WITHIN

Page 49 has a line in the footer which reads:
THE GUARDIAN SHALL DEFY A GOD ONLY TO BE DEALT A FATAL BLOW

Page 51 has a line in the footer which reads:
THE VOYEUR SHALL SWALLOW JUSTICE'S SWORD

Page 53 has a line in the footer which reads:
THEIR WORLD SHALL PERISH

Page 55 has a line in the footer which reads:
THEIR WORLD SHALL BURN

Page 57 has a line in the footer which reads:
YOU, TOO, ARE ON THIS SAME. SINKING. VESSEL.

Page 58 has a line in the footer which reads:
THE GREAT FLOOD SHALL WASH AWAY ALL THE ASH, READYING THE WORLD FOR ANOTHER GREATER, CYCLE

Page 59 has a line in the footer which reads:
[EXIT ALL]
