Good job, qaqa. Hopefully, we'll get a response.

And I know we've talked about it before, but I think it's time(not now, though) to approach the subject of the parents again.

We need to find out what happened to them.
Although, some of this just rings of a hilarious plot device to cover up a flub regarding the parents.

Considering Corenthal's involvement and track record with the parents of "troubled" kids, maybe he paid a visit.

It could be a careful cover of continuity fail.

But after those documents, I am wondering if maybe Corenthal has visited Alex as well.

Who was it Jeff agreed to talk to about the parents? They should go for it soon.

Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but Evan and Damsel have apparently been getting... cozy lately. I mean, I know there's a history with Jessie, but I believe she's been described as Evan's EX-girlfriend. I'm going to feel like kind of a dick if this is behind-the-curtain stuff spilling over into the game, and I'm outing the creators rather than the characters, but if their apparently flirtatious closeness is indeed in-game, do you folks think there might be any important implications? I mean, we all know that SOMETHING is going on with wonky Evan. Could Steph have some insight that everyone else might not have? And how could we approach her about it tactfully, especially now that Evan has been ripped up so badly?

I think the return of CYSTW definitely means some of us should engage Steph directly. About any number of things, who knows what.

Hmm. I see them as being close to each other, but I honestly don't see any romantic chemistry. I think Steph is much more in tune with Evan than even Jeff and Vince, though, and her observations on his behavior would be very valuable.

Creepy Retrospective moment: You all remember that clip with sparky and you hear the "Goodnight" that everyone figures was the guys mom, and everyone was trying to figure out how that gelled with their passing?

Well, now we have a possible answer there: The Tape Deck of Parental Voices

I'd say that's THE answer. We hear the same "Goodnight" here. It's creepy as hell.

Libraries sometimes run what is known as a "clipping service" for prominent citizens, collecting all mentions of them from the local media in a single location to ease research. I've found similar archives for relatives of mine while doing genealogy research.

This is more plot development than I'd ever have expected from EMH all in one video. And I liked the wifin reference.

exactly. It's a tough thing to look at, regarding Alex. On one level, we get a very real explanation on the mental health of Alex. It makes it harder to laugh at the stupid things he does(Vinnie's phone) when you know he's got real problems going on.

But it's hilarious if this is still just a massive continuity flub correction. HILARIOUS

And even more hilarity for possible plot trees.

Alex: Mom, should I kill Jeff's girlfriend for pretending you are dead?

Stereo Mom(Who has a recording of their mom saying that? Or did someone record it for this? Why would anyone agree to do that?): Well, it's late...but I guess it's okay!

Alex: Great, you're the best, Mom!

So do we think that the Rake has been living in the shed since the crawspace was wiped out of existence, or was it just happenstance that he was in there?

And did anyone else think that when Jeff asked "Is it her?" that he meant Jessa since the last time we saw the shed it was in the video with her "ghost" (or what the hell ever that was.)? Or is that just MY brain misfiring?

I also thought he meant Jessa initially but I honestly think he was referencing Sparky.

in that video it was slenderman, which he somehow mistook for her. (how, exactly?!)

they should definitely investigate that shed.

Corenthal himself?

While on the run? For at least a decade?

*shrug*

Whoever put the metal tin/ label in the storage unit?

MOR! TANGENTS:

The last entry(8/16 2005) is kinda sorta terrifying.

One, it was a downtown eatery. Dozens of victims. And Corenthal was backing into the frame. Like he saw something and was backing away?

I wonder if it's possible to get ahold of the security camera footage? It seems like it's unclear of what happened. Why was Corenthal fighting people off? Surely a dozen people could handle one guy? Screwiness abounding.

Sorry, I might have missed something, but could someone link me to what he's talking about? I'm guessing it's some kind of .zip/.rar file on the EMH mediafire or it's a Google Docs page.

I hope I'm not prying, but I am kind of worried about Evan after the last video, and since you seem to spend the most time with him out of anybody, I thought I'd ask: how's his arm doing? Did he end up going to the hospital? And, most importantly, how's his emotional state? An injury like that can be scary as hell, and it can mess you up a little bit.

Here's hoping I get a response.

This was an ok episode, a bit drawn out with a 9:30ish runtime, but alright. The real gem in this video is the Rake ending. The dialogue was a bit narmy and unrealistically voiced (jeff and evan sounded very placid and nonchalant at the end). I think Alex's part with his mom's voice on the boombox was quite silly. And it didn't sound like it was coming from the boombox at all, it sounded more like an unedited soundclip put into the video. Rolling Eyes
