As for Corenthal, I did ask the boys to look into any information in Hamilton or Monroe re: the Corenthal incidents, specifically the big gala in '93. There's got to be something.

If he's out there on Baldpate, why are they constantly being directed out there, through the crawlspace, etc? Wouldn't SM/HABIT want them kept away from Corenthal?

And who put the can with the archive label on it in the storage facility? Who destroyed the film in there (Jeff's letter indicated there were scraps of film in it)?


I think it's important to find out if Corenthal is actually alive. His wife says he's dead. Habit says he's worse then dead(I think?).

I think answering the question about archive label and scraps of film could probably be answered by however Jessie's family got the key, right? To speculate some more, maybe Jessie's grandmother(since she was Rake'd, I'd assume she had some knowledge of what Corenthal was doing).

Baldpate has some more significance than I think we've been told. In ADITL, Evan was spacing out. I honestly think there's more to it than Evan just being Evan. Maybe it's Corenthal. Maybe it's Habit.

I've thought Baldpate was key for awhile, which is why I began obsessing over the location and its history a couple months ago. We pored over websites about it, even located one of the houses seen in the videos, but found little information. It's got quite a past, but nothing with a clear direction as to where to go.

I do think he may well be alive, and up there. I also think Evan is not truly conscious of any of this, but HABIT is.

Accordingly, given the potential Rose and William connection, I also asked if Jessie or her family knew of a "Linnie," again.

 		I'm super curious about Linnie. We've never had an indication that she shared the same fate as the other four. (Unless Alex is a proxy for her?).

She has to play a bigger role in this than just a Rake creepy pasta name drop

 		My suspicion remains that she was taken in by Corenthal's sister Rose and her husband William. Whether or not she's dead - the girl in Lambertville, who would not be Linnie's age - is another story.

 		Is it possible that Corenthal is alive and hiding out on Baldplate? Its an isolated area, he can easily hide in the abandoned houses, and stealing food and other necessities isn't hard for the experienced shoplifter.

Considering the history we've discovered, it seems that danger follows him wherever he goes. I can't see him wanting to deliberately put his wife in danger, you know? So, he'd let her know that he was alive and that he was doing alright, but he wouldn't want to come with ten miles of her because he doesn't want her to bite it.

I guess I'm just running with the "everyone is attracted to Baldplate" idea...

 		Of course, Corenthal might have been aware of the teleporting tendencies of Baldpate and used that to "disappear" in 2005

 		Missed when this was brought up, but when they were talking about the "she" in the shed I thought they were talking about Jessa at first too. Made that bit where Evan was talking about the Rake holding her up and moving her around a bit like a puppet a lot more creepy to me than when I realized they were talking about Sparky. /hasnothingtocontribute

 		Somebody needs to make these two macro's for me:

Alex's face:

"Can I go to library with boys?"

"It's late Alex, sllee pno.w!"

and Evan's face:

Getting arm ripped off by Rake

Tubwater's gonna help!

Thoughts:

- Alex's so messed up, poor guy.
- RIP Sparky. We'll miss you.
- female sounding screams during Rake attack? Was Jessa turned into... something else...?
- Corenthal has something after him that is NOT the Rake. That thing can kill in seconds. NOT Slendy, that thing can teleport in seconds.
- WHAT THE HELL IS HABIT?? I know we thought Evan was infected, but he's pretty... reliable, really. He's actually good at saving people's asses. That or he's "used" by Habit as sort of a straw puppet... "Oh guys, look at what Rake did to my arm, he's so dangerous, and I don't feel pain, sllee pno.w!"
EDIT: "Months" could refer to, like 20 months. That's not years, ya know.

Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if we're looking at something between 05 and 10 for the parental demise.


And digressing to Alex. If they didn't have all this other Slendy/Rake/Habit shit going down, someone would have to take Jeff to task for letting Alex remain this fucked up.
