 		I'm back but nvm that now.


I want to say that they never really mentioned there parents, only there "family" in Jokes Over and Jeff. This could mean there Aunts, Uncles, etc.


There probably check on them a lot, I think Vin gets mixed up a lot, and their parents died right before the series began.

 		Does someone with some audio skill want to look at the 8:10 mark? Right about when the Rake goes from the wheezing/whining noise to more of the roar some audio starts up in the background. It sounds like someone talking, but I can't make it

 		On the parents: maybe it's not a Ret Con by the boys, but a Ret Gone by Slendy? As in, he killed them and changed everyone's memories so that they think they've been dead for longer than they really have?

 		I heard the Decemberists on the radio and knew to expect the Rake. But I was not prepared for Sparky being killed. As if Alex wasn't messed up enough already.

Spoilered in case someone hasn't watched the vid and hasn't seen the bloodyness...

So, looking at Evan's arm, the claw marks seem to be going every which way (a big one along the outside of his left forearm "in line" with his arm, while further up the arm there is one that is more side to side. I'm trying to work through in my head how that could happen if he's trying to pull his arm free in the short time from the video.


Someone else noted how Evan is always "leading the charge" against the rake, and I think it is important to note that when he does this with slendy, it's more "aimless charging with a knife", while with the rake he seems to stay calm and collected (to some degree anyway, although it could be character development - he was also pretty calm and level headed inside the storage unit). Someone else noted how Habit/the Rake seem connected somehow, and Evan and Habit seem to have something going on. What if Habit is staging some heroic situations/injuries to throw others off his trail? So if someone points out "Boy Evan's acting weird", the logical answer could be "Well he did get raked pretty bad saving our asses..."

 		The return of the Rake reminded me of something. At the end of "Cop's Checked" we see Evan and Jessie off on their own, then Vince and Jeff show up and are all like, "We have to get out of here *now*." Did we ever get any information on what Vince and Jeff had run into that convinced them it was time to leave? Just seeing the Rake scurrying through the woods earlier hadn't been enough to do it, so what was?

What makes you think there was a separate event? It's a bit of a delayed reaction, yes, I never got the impression that something happened that we weren't privy to.

I'm at work and so can't view the video, but as I recall (and with help from the wiki) after the Rake is spotted there's a cut to Jessie and Evan walking alone in a darker area. Jessie even lampshades the fact that they've split up into two groups, so that suggests to me that they decided to do some exploring (or something) after sighting the Rake and Linney's body.

Then Jeff shows up, agitated if I recall correctly, and (according to the wiki) Evan explicitly asks "What's the matter?". Since everybody already knew about the Rake and the body at this point, it seems to me that Evan assumed that something else had gone wrong.

Only Jeff and Vince saw the dead body and the Rake, Jessie and Evan split off before that event.
