Still don't buy Jessa being dead for one reason: we saw her in the Magus-video. She may be hollowed, but I doubt she's dead. The boys probably just say it cause they try to accept that she's gone, but I bet 20$ we'll see her again at some point.

But to be a bit more serious, this is starting to worry me again. A Lot.
I know we've pretty much established that fighting Slendy is a Bad Idea, but we've no reason to suspect that The Rake is similarly invulnerable. Still, you don't go after a vicious feral creature that can rip an arm up in seconds with a fucking baseball bat and a hunting knife. If they haven't already, then I think it's about time the boys invested in a few BIG flashlights (like the big Spotlight kind) and some shotguns or something... Then go hunting for white possums.

I have to interject something on this Evan/The Rake issue. Evan is always gungho toward chasing down danger. Not just The Rake, either, but Slenderman as well.

If we go with the HABIT is somehow Evan (I'm a reincarnation theorist myself) idea and The Rake has acted with HABIT... it makes things look kinda scary. Like HABIT isn't thinking things through and isn't very stable in his control. How would he not know Evan would charge into danger before letting Alex, who he's already stepped out of his way to help, wander into it?

When the Fairmount Four were dying, one survived longer than the others and then they too succumbed. I wonder if maybe HABIT doesn't have a history of letting things get out of hand. :\

On a slightly connected note, I'm starting to worry about how Jeff's family might have perished.


Edit: Also, yay, I'm no longer pure Lurker.
Also, I just want to clarify that WE didn't see Jessa in the Magus vid, right? We barely got to see any 'figure'. Do we know that anyone else saw her?

Nothing's been confirmed, but Jeff clearly thought it was her. Jeff wasn't really a reliable source at the time, as he was still Sad Panda. I like to think it was her, but...

It's easier to see in this version. Best to mute it, the audio is painful. Some notes:

:02 to :15 - You can see the figure in front of the shed. Said figure is moving to the left, and Slender can be seen standing on top of the shed.

:17 - There's a brief moment where the shed appears on-screen again. The figure is still in front of the shed.

:28 to :33 - The figure is at the edge of the shed, and moving out of view. (PoI: The figure seems to be moving slightly faster than before.)

:33 - Figure is completely out of sight.
