I'm still holding out hope that Jessa is alive, possibly Slenderized but redeemable, and someday Jeff will have her back again. ...And Alex won't get killed by the Rake and they'll find a way to break the cycle and no one else will die and they'll all live in harmony harmony oh love... The figure is feminine and noting Sparky's recent use as a puppet, anything is possible. But Slenderman is not The Rake. And anyway, whether he's puppeteering her or not... I dunno how. We've seen people act out of character before, Evan stalking Jessa and Damsel in one random video... the moments of madness... but.. Jessa has stayed out of the picture since then.

It still feels more likely she's croaked.

Listening again to the previous "Rake" occurences, there really isn't the same level of "background talking" that this last one has.

I might try to download audacity or something tomorrow to see if I can make out what's being said...but I'm certain that something is being said. It's a definite male voice that isn't Jeff, Alex, or Evan.




On a side note, it's a little creepy how the rake stuff from this mirrors the stuff from Alex.



On the Magus stuff, I don't know. I think the fact that Jeff and Vince remember this makes this sorta odd. You'd think it'd be the same thing as the hidden videos, right? The whole video sorta stands out on it's own. For the longest time, I was guessing that it wasn't Slendy at all on the roof(fake slendy) and that Jessa was in on whatever conspiracy that was going on. I don't think I believe that anymore.

But frankly, I don't think anything can progress any further until Alex is out of the way. If Evan, Jeff, Vince, Stephanie, Slenderman and the Doctor are going to begin dancing the old dance that ends with them ALL losing, then there's something in the way, maybe two things: One, FairmountJeffery lost his whole family. Including his sibling. Two. EMH!Evan has a sister. That's... a big hole in things.

As for the sound of the Rake, there is one event that might be The Rake that makes a similar sound, acts similarly. Here goes the controversy... but... the end of Welcome To The ARK.

That's why Sparky was the bait, to lure Alex to his death, IMHO.

We have one or two contingencies against it, and that's keeping Alex and perhaps this previously unseen sister....

We don't know what we saw in the Magus video though... it was a figure, presumably female, which Jeff in his hysteria called "Jessa." They were pretty far away and it was dark, I doubt Jeff (especially in the state he was in at the time) could have positively identified the figure as Jessa.

and as much as I'd love to see Jessa alive too, I'm not counting on it. The body count is already piling up and all the deaths thus far have occurred off camera and we never saw the bodies... so what makes us think Jessa's presumed death will be any different? "She's gone."

if you're going the Slendy Puppet route with the figure in that video though... then I imagine Damsel is your more likely target. It's been established that he's talked to her before after all... and that she did what he said. Xp

Thinking about the Corenthal clippings, what are the odds that the good doctor took a trip down to Alabama a couple of years ago? It would fit the whole "Corenthal visits the families of 'troubled' children hours before they're slaughtered" theme.

I have a small theory regarding Alex- and feel completely free to debunk it- That radio didn't sound like it was being recorded from the camera's microphone. It kind of sounded like Slenderdistortion would, as if it were imprinted on the the camera. Maybe, just maybe, it played the sound in a way so that only Alex and the camera could hear it?
I am wearing a raincoat for the wave of tomatoes that are about to be thrown at me.
