Good point on the mirror observation. There haven't been a lot of arbitrary symbols so far, so this could possibly be an indication the "parallel" theory is still good?
Then again, the photo is just that awesome and might just coincidentally have a mirror involved.

Wow. Those are some spot-on lyrics, almost as if they were written specifically for EMH. Amazing find on the team's part.

And somebody's gonna hurt really bad, really soon. Sad

[mega OT-ness]That song is so emo I think it gave me a crying tumor.

Honestly, I kinda like the music but only Marilyn Manson can do nonsensical expressionist lyrics with any sort of decency. Then again, I think he just speaks to my deep intrinsic hatred of everyone and everything. [/mega OT]

I agree with Mattwan, the emo music doesn't bode well.

Well, look on the bright side, people - after all, it's not like the music was Creed. Close, but no Creed.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but page 299 of House of Leaves has some pretty creepy stuff relating to HABIT on it. Too lazy to quote it right now, but the book refers to "habit" as a being.

Gee thanks, now can someone who actually owns the book make up for this person's laziness and give us the quote? It's not available on the google books preview.

"[I]t's all useless, a theatrical gesture born out of habit and habit is never hope, though some actually might have survived--habit does have its place--had there been a little more time, sinking time..." (299).

edit: skipped a line

Hmm, all I see about habit on that page is kind of unhelpful...

Quote:
... letting all of the sea within, banishing the inside once and for all, and though some fathers still make for the lifeboats, it's all useless, a theatrical gesture born out of habit and habit is never hope, though some actually might have survived--habit does have its place--had there been a little more time, sinking time ...

This is in the middle of a sentence that never ends.

That's rather disturbing that you both seem to have the same sentence and not the same sentence at all. I don't think it's a coincidence that there is talk of a ship, a sea, and a sinking of said ship (HABIT said something about all the EMH guys being on the same sinking ship).

What's really bugging me out is ". . .A theatrical gesture born out of habit, and habit is never hope, though some actually might have survived . . ."

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What if HABIT was born out of the cycles, and isn't actually a part of the cycle? What if our current cast is actually the little bit of hope that has survived? Therefore the cast is actually the hopeful echo of the morality play "Everyman" that has been repeatedly played out over time and HABIT is the one conducting the cycle because he was born out of the cycle.

Ow, my head.

The new post makes things er...disturbing and iffy

Seems like HABIT either is using Steph finally or has been all along and some people's suspicions were and or are correct.

Yeah, on thought, that really is quite disturbing. The kids have a habit of trying to escape. Or THEIR FATHERS DO. O.O

House of Leaves is a weird book.

Oh, shit.

That sounds like Evan. Or rather, a combination of him and HABIT, finally merging some more. That's not good. It's possible HABIT just jumped kids, but I don't think so. Or maybe as we've theorized he uses them all, all at once, but Evan is the primary. Still, it sounds more like Evan than the usual HABIT.

I sent HABIT an ask in the tumblr, but I doubt he'll reply.

Oh crap. Think she left herself logged in on Evan's computer? Or accidentally saved the password.
