It wasn't so much they let it influence, but gave the OOG joking an acknowledgement. Either way it's established...something. Not quite sure what.

As for them being 'too professional' for that? By very nature the OOG has some influence on them, not much, but some.

That's the best part. Jeff is very much a teasing/borderline-trolling creator OOG. And I wouldn't have it any other way, as it's, well, funny.

To be fair Cougar, Damsel often replies to grieck's questions. At least, she answers his questions at a higher rate than anyone else we've seen so far. It's a fair shot.

That's reading more into my post than I even realized existed. If I don't get a reply than I don't get a reply. Life moves on. As I said though, please enough of this. There's little importance in it at this stage.

I am curious as to why ol' Captain Caps Lock is after CYSTW. Perhaps an indirect threat to Steph. It's being pretty clear the in-story attraction between Evan and Steph, so maybe this is HABIT's way of a warning. Or perhaps he actually has her marked for something sinister?

EDIT!: Perhaps he's cutting off some of our communication? That could serve a great many purposes...

But no communication has been cut off - it's just parlor games. And Evan certainly was still able to yell at me the day after the first CYSTW jack. Either HABIT's playing with us, or he's trying to turn them on Evan, or both. And as usual, he's invoking past real-life atrocities - and sometimes, I think, suggesting a connection between himself and them.

I wish we knew more about current relations between Evan and the others, and how he's doing, but I guess we'll know when they tell us. I have been worried sick.

It might not be aimed at us at all, except perhaps to taunt us for our true lack of power.

Evan implied in his email that he was experiencing friction with the rest of the crew. Since Damsel lives in his house, that places him as the one who has the most access to her Tumblr aside from herself. That naturally puts him under a lot of suspicion. HABIT might simply be setting him up for a confrontation with the guys, resulting in his succumbing, defection, and ultimate self-immolation.

Another interesting thought: since Evan will "NO LONGER [DEFINE] THE TWO WITHIN," this might be nothing more than an elaborate suicide attempt on HABIT's part.

Someone needs to play ball with Habit.

Maybe submit a question to CYSTW consisting of a picture of H.H. Holmes or something and see if Habit responds.
