Keep in mind, I'm saying all that as if his character was designed that way. Like a child craving attention, if a really fucked up child. How old is HABIT keep in mind. Or moreof, if HABIT is Fairmount Evan, did he ever really age?

As for my avatar...yeah. That's me, with a masky mask someone important made. I'm not sure whether the hair thing was an insult or a compliment, either way my hair looks more like Neil Gaiman's nowadays.

Not an insult, I wish my hair was that luxurious, unfortunately I think the problem is I have to dye it to get it the lovely black color.

Anyway, I was operating under the assumption that HABIT is some sort of demonic entity that possesses hypersensitives like the Fairmount kids or the hybrids.

The idea that HABIT jumps is valid, but what if it's like "Being John Malkovich" where HABIT has to crawl into someone's head very early to live there and therefore live those lives forever.

Or even more obscure, like the Bene Gesserits passing on his lives and experiences constantly through generations and HABIT is the spiritual gom-jabbar that causes abomination.

Another possibility, Lovecraftian transference theory like in "The Thing on the Doorstep" where some psycho cultist takes over the body of an unsuspecting target, and it hasn't become permanent yet.

I'm still unable to reckon whether I think they are literally the same people, physically and all, or some sort of reincarnation, or cyrogenic sleep or flat out Slendertime (picked up then and put here now and reverse) or what.

EDIT: Also, contributing nothing but just rewatched ".-" randomly, and this time I got less of a "HABIT being bad" vibe and more of a "SELF-IMMOLATE" vibe.

I do think HABIT craves attention, and judging by what we suspect was indeed his behavior in the hidden footage from "Ryan and the Seven Trials of HABIT" he still seems like a blustering adolescent. I think that's why he insists he's been all over the world, at all sorts of times and places, making all sorts of atrocities happen. The question is how much of it is true, how much of it is bluster, how he came into being, how much of him started as just another personality - if he ever was just that at all - and how he became whatever he is now. We've been trying to lock down specifics on what HABIT is and how he is for months, but it's exceedingly difficult when he is not very present.

I don't know that they're the same people, i.e. plucked out of time. The current information suggests that the previous set died or "succumbed" somehow, and that life went on and then the new batch cropped up. But I really don't know. None of us do.

Has anyone tried to call him out on his bullshit? We've pissed off Evan with questionable results, why not piss off HABIT? If he's really trying to remain relevant he's obviously having identity issues because he's not being paid attention to. Why not call him a cowardly bastard and get him to flip a shit? Might not work or it could prod him into giving us too much information.

Anyone got a death wish? I'd do it, but I'm not a rabbit.
