We've done all of these ridiculous and illogical things... things that in some cases have hurt other people, just because someone told us to. From an in-game perspective, what do participating rabbits gain from the trials? Nothing that we know of. Surviving rabbits have buried a prized possession, condemned other rabbits to elimination (possibly death IG), broken off a friendship, and will now soon sacrifice part of their reputation (or dignitiy, YMMV) in Trial Four, all because the psychotic murder told them too, and that there MIGHT be some kind of prize at the end.

Thoughts on this?


I recall someone mentioned that theory in Angorachat some time back. See the problem here is, What would HABIT gain from that though? Unfortunately, without more knowledge of who HABIT really is we can't be sure of anything. Though I'm starting to lean towards the whole bit that he's disconnecting us from our former life for something... (also good catch pointing out this sacrifices reputation!)

Although your theory still is very possible, there's one other detail. It's likely we get nothing official from these trials as a Prize, there are important reasons some people are still in this.

and honestly we will be risking more than just our "reputation" by reciting this. The violent and inflammatory language could easily force a bystander to call the police.

it would be interesting to capture that on video though. I can do mine at my college but then everyone will start thinking i've lost it.

OMG, just got an awesome picture in my head. Some rabbit stages fake police officers or security guards to arrest/drag them away at the conclusion of the reading/video and they keep screaming HABIT MADE ME DO IT the whole way...
