It still seems to me that it was made abundantly clear that HABIT and SM are working together in some fashion, albeit not without antipathy. That's how I interpreted their "conversation" in the kitchen, among other things.

Oh, there's no doubt that they are/were working together at the point of the table conversation. But I question if that was always the case. The Twitter fight seemed to be cordial, but tense. And the later tweets where we had Habit ranting the relationship were ended with a pretty definitive "enough!"from who we presume to be Slendy.

Basically, the relationship of HABIT and Slendy that we see at the table doesn't seem to match the relationship we are lead to believe from that entry.
