Wow. That's a lot to take in.

I wonder if the Rake appearance at the start of the first video - the one HABIT was meant to have e-mailed to the guys - is meant to be HABIT's way of "showing them the instruments"? You know, the old torturer's trick of letting the victim see what's going to be used on them first to heighten the fear.

Okay, I only heard about two thirds of Candleverse, so I hope for a transcript. That being said, off the top of my head- I guess I wasn't totally off about "past iterations" of the guys when we began talking about this in the fall. But are the Candleverse EMH the source? They refer to the trials as soon beginning in the current iteration - which they are not, but our EMH likely is - so they can see into our universe, or something. But even with another iteration on the griddle, they do not cease to exist. They're right there, sans Steph. Why? And who's filming - SLONDORMON?

Also, on the iterations - presumably the one in Evan's photograph and in the Baldpate footage here was the "American Legion," rock-'n-roll Jimmy Corenthal the Candleverse boys mention. Not our Corenthal. Not Dr. Corenthal. Just an iteration. He can be many types, but he is always and only James Corenthal.

I can't begin to deal with this until we have a transcript. So yeah. Random thoughts. I just would like to know if we can avoid filling the Candleverse up with excess college students another time around.

Okay, at about 1:10 in this video, it looks like there's something rising and falling behind Jeff. Probably just the focus on Evan's camera being all weird, but I figured I'd point it out.

More Rake!? Oh god the way it moves...*shudder* Not to mention, I'm sitting in a dark room now (my friend went to sleep, sob), and in an attempt to mute my volume in case of loud noises, i ended up turning it higher. Nearly pissed myself, again.

Also, the scenes of them in the basement, talking about the Rake and Alex...that's the same room where Evan went Psycho in Slender Man...just wanted to say. Kufu.

What did Evan say to Vince about the camera...? It sounded like..."that fucking thing next to you." Who exactly is recording? Daniel still?

And...That guy in the field looked a lot like 'James', though that's probably needless to say.

First post! (Though have been lurking for more than a year)

So, during the second Corenthal scene, the woman (his wife?) can be heard saying "When Alex was out of middle-school we built our cabin out here."
Does that mean he is part of the Mining Town 4. But if so, wouldn't that make it 5?

Edit: Actually she says "WHEN he is out of middle-school we WILL build our cabin out here"

I think whatever was our point of view in the candleverse isn't a camera. I think portions of these hidden videos has always been us 'watching' the visual input from someone or something. I believe this was suggested WAY back in the first few months by somebody, and I've always felt like it had some merit. this video seems to heavily imply that the cameraman is not in fact a camera man, and is some being watching them. Jeff seems to refer to the uncameraman's 'thousand mile stare' after the boys acknowledge its presence... maybe a creature with either inhuman black eyes, or a complete lack of eyes, making the gaze even creepier?

Also, did it look to anyone else suspiciously like it went from night, to day, and possibly back and forth a few times in the candleverse during the video? Or is it just the camera adjusting to the poor lighting conditions?

I really can't tell what to make of the Ark footage, I was never a fan of the "iterations" theory, but there's no other explanation for what I'm seeing. Also, why is Jeff dressed like Slenderman?
