 		Wait, something just came to mind. Based on several clues (Most prevelant being HABIT's tweet of 'SURPRISE, BITCHES' right after the new video was uploaded) we can assume that HABIT is the one putting the hidden videos on their channel. But in Candle Cove, Slendy is the one who's watching them. How in the flying monkey fucks did HABIT get footage that was recorded by Slendy's head?

 		I don't know about antagonistic, but they're certainly more jaded and abrasive.

Evan also seems quite clear on why he is handcuffed and must be watched, and is sympathetic to them. He says he knows he 'slips,' and then he does so at the end of the video. This has been going on for a long time. Some remnant of HABIT, it seems, is always with him, maybe.

The question is why these versions are there, what they are. Are they the originals? The core archetypes? They seem to be existing just fine while the latest iterations play out in other realities or universes. So how does this work?

 		Could somebody be so nice to write down the dialogue in the hidden videos? I didn't understand most of what they said when they sat near the candles (apart from them discussing HABIT for a bit).

 		OMG...I'm so confused it's not even funny. These two videos were so worth the wait as I expected them to be.

I still need to process everything, but I do have a theory on the Candle boys um...mess.

Is it possible that these are different permeations of what would have happened had we done things differently? Had we made decisions that would have altered things permanently for them?


It would be a hell of a twist.

Someone's already done that.

@Look: It's an interesting theory, but I don't think it works. To the Candle Cove boys, HABIT's trials have yet to start. And before the trials, we never really had anything interactive to do that would have actually changed anything.

I don't think this is after Ryan's death, but it SURE could be after Jeff's and Alex's parents death which would make it possible.

 		Anyone who hasn't seen the two most recent vids, please do not read this:

The implications of Chaos.

When you watch the morse code videos in the proper order, that being to spell out CHAOS, you suddenly realize that there are some disturbing implications.

C is the most recent.

In it we see what seems to be Evan, Vince and Jeff out of universe, observing the things happening to the EMH crew third person and a bit before the trial. Evan contradicts HABIT who says that the doc is currently alive by saying he was dead 5 years before the trials began. Now, assuming this universe that is seemingly timeless has some sort of time and is linear, we don't know why HABIT would lie. And we have no confirmed death of the doc outside what Candleverse!Evan says.There's a lot of talk of violence from both our Universe and Candleverse.

The vid ends with Evan trying to strangle Jeff.

H:

H is HABIT's singalong. Along with all the disturbing imagery including a ball bouncing that fits really well with the windmill that isn't spinning in C, we end H with a shot of Jeff's face and the words, 'His loss blinds him.'

A:

We see Evan standing over a camera or someone's eyes we're seeing from, with water between them, like the person is being drowned. Well, Jeff and Alex are the cameramen in almost all cases where one of them is around. There are shots in this video and in H and C of an underwater struggle.

O:

In multiple scenes, Jeff has his back turned toward Evan, who seems to be in a trance as he plays with a pair of sharp knives over a sink.

S:

In addition to the Freddy Kruger (who comes in your dreams, I might add) claw hands Evan has going in the opening, he and Vince spend huge portions of this video fighting with Jeff.

Thoughts:

In the Angora chat, someone took Candle!Jeff's line about 19 years 'and it seemed so real' and formed a rudimentary theory just as a vague out there possibility, that we should look out for Jeff's 19th year ending badly. Guess whose birthday is next month? Yeah.

In C, Jeff spoke about protecting his brother.

In the Everyman morality play, the Guardian loses who he sought to protect and then dies fighting.

I think the time to consider worrying about Evan around Jeff is here.
