The flooding old, old footage from the NJ floods back in 2010 I think. I think the only new footage is Evan and Vin at Lexi's.

I do wonder if Lexi is really dead. Didn't HABIT tweet almost immediately about Sparky's death? I don't know, it seems bizarre that someone that important to Vinnie would be killed off and HABIT would say nothing.

I thought the Slendy looked off here too, but I'm not willing to call fake Slendy. Mainly because I really don't want them to add another antagonist to the mix.

I wonder if we should even bother to try to figure out when these videos are filmed based on hair. The only point in time it would make sense for Evan to be bandageless, but with hair that long is before the murder of Sparky, yet Vinnie was only just meeting Lexie in that episode. I suppose there's always the possibility that Evan healed from his injuries freakishly fast for some supernatural reason and they hid this fact from us by having him continue to wear bandages long after he needed to. Or maybe I'm just underestimating Evan's ability to grow a shaggy mop of hair in the month since the Noah video. Laughing

Confidence: 100% RESTORED. They really needed a killer video to shake us out of the lull and wow, was this it.

I loved the way Slendy was so still when Vinnie comes around the corner and sees him. Because of the camera quality I didn't process what I was seeing until he moved at which point HOLY SHIT. (Also I didn't get the ghost-Sparky thing until someone mentioned it on thread. Good catch, whoever you are.)

More thoughts:

- Wow, the Rake was freaking out big time in that room.
- JEFF NOOOOOOOOO.
- I am forced to wonder whether Evan committed murder or a mercy-killing. I don't know which is more disturbing.
- Nice touch with the car driving along and stopping to look at the deer. Is someone getting a taste for it?
- Flood imagery is interesting. The water's now lapping at the seats. Is this meant to suggest that things are reaching the point of no return?

Just rewatched really quickly,

Yeah, Vince does see someone in the house before they go to the door. "I think I just saw her walk by." *maybe a leg at the window?* "Yeah, there she is!"

I noticed this too and forgot to mention it this morning. I rewatched it again to figure it out. It's a bit hard to see, but it looks like an outline of a figure when Vinny goes "Yeah, there she is." When the boys enter the house and turn on the lights, Vinny swears. That's when you can (or what I believe is) see something that looks like maybe a chair and a blanket made to look like the silouette of a person. Vinny sees they've been tricked and acts accordingly.
The camera moves rather quickly, so if someone could take a screen cap, that'd be great.

Of course, then that makes you wonder who set it up. The figure in the window moves. Someone was still in the house when the boys entered and wanted to make it look like Lexi was standing there. Question is, who? and did Evan get them?If Vinny heard a yell, that might've been Evan seeing the intruder and attacking him. Evan (inHABITed?) didn't want to talk about it because the intruder got away.

Everyone has been saying that Evan knew where the knives where, but if you watch, it doesn't look like that's the case. Evan goes to the kitchen after he sees he's been tricked. He opens up a drawer on the right. Vinny ducks behind Evan's back and all you hear is the faint sound of the drawer closing. If you look again, Evan has the drawer on the left open. He had the wrong drawer at first. I don't think Evan suddenly knew where the sharp objects were. I think he wanted a knife and looked for one, getting lucky. Don't most people keep their large knifes in a top drawer? I know myself and several others do. His first instinct was a knife. Where would one be? The kitchen drawers. He probably would've kept searching had he not found one so soon.

I have mixed feelings on sending a nasty email. I don't want to comment much. Just don't be too flaming. We still want them to feel like they can talk to us without defending themselves over everything. The video was meant to seperate us. Let's not let it work. I do admit some scolding is needed though.

I belive Lexi was the girl who helped Vinny at the library way back when. She didn't want to be filmed though. I guess they kept in contact.

That's assuming HABIT is responsible. Lexi's disappearance is more reminiscent of Jessa's disappearance than Sparky's death. HABIT didn't address Jessa's disappearance until everyone had pretty much written her off. If he know Jessa was dead, he probably would've taken credit for it. Since he didn't, I'm inclined to believe Slendy took her, and HABIT was just as in the dark as the rest of us. If he gloats/taunts about Lexi's death and she reappears, he'll lose face. And that's something HABIT can't risk.

Hmm. My gut reaction is that the Lexi clips are relatively recent. I can see Vinnie keeping the guys and Lexi separate; weird shit goes down when the guys are together. I've got a pixie cut and my hair can grow that quickly... but that doesn't explain the bandage.

Meant to comment on this one earlier:

So Jeff is a pill popper. Actually, that's not right. Two explainations are either: A) he was trying to kill himself and it didn't work or B) Jeff has been taking depression/anxiety pills (probably unprescribed) and has been taking a lot more at a time than he should. (It looks like there are quite a few pills in his hand when he pours them out.) Either way, drugs may not be the best solution here. Not saying Jeff is suddenly a drug addict, but he may become dependent on them if he isn't already.

Just curious--why do you assume it's not prescribed? It's in a prescription bottle, after all. Unless you're implying the pills were old and just hanging around the house, or maybe Alex's?

I suppose I don't have much evidence. It was the way Jeff was just, for lack of a better expression, chugging them down.
I suppose he easily could have gone to the doctor, but Jeff seems to like to avoid them because of Alex. If his family has a history of mental disorders then maybe he wouldn't go for fear of getting checked into too deeply. They could have just been lying around the house. Maybe once upon a time Alex really did go to a doctor after his parent's death and they were his? Unused, appearently.

Jeff doesn't strike my as the type to buy off the blackmarket or illegal drug sellers, but something tells me he won't go to the doctor for anything short of bleeding out. Doesn't he work at a mental hostpital? He could've gotten them there.

Have to laugh at your Alex reference.

This.

If you rewatch Alex, you'll see Jeff is wearing the same clothes in this one. As in, Jeff was all pill-popped when Alex and Evan went and got him.

I would like to know when the basement Vinnie stuff is from.

ALSO ALSO ALSO THIS MEANS THERE ARE MORE SECURITY CAMERAS IN JEFF'S HOUSE. THIS TIME IN HIS BASEMENT. WHO IS PUTTING THEM UP AND WHY.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but in the morality plays Vin is supposed to be "The Voyeur", right?

Hmmm...

I just have to say, we don't need any harsh emails or even a bit of scolding directed at the EMH crew.

Need I remind you all that this is THERE fight, and THERE problem.

Since when is it there responsibility to upload videos for us, or tell us all the personal details about there lives. I can't remember anything like that.

Does it frustrate me a little that EMH withhold info, yes but if we start getting pissed at them, then we are letting habit get all the more closer to winning.

To quote tree myself, it puts a more direct emphasis on the last few shots from ". . . ." of Jeff(again probably from "Alex" staring right into the camera on the bed). I think we brushed it off as "Habit does habit stuff" trying to explain the shot, but it's definitely creepier thinking it's a pilled-out Jeff

Holy crap.

I mean, holy crap. I don't even...The implications alone are....

HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE, BATMAN.

That was almost a year ago. I checked it out, those indeed are the same clothes Jeff was wearing. Has he been hiding this for all this time? Was it just a one off thing right after Jessa left or has this been an ongoing thing? If it is ongoing, how did he hide it for so long? Wouldn't Alex or Evan notice? Granted, Alex is a bit off his rocker, but he must have common sense to notice the signs....Evan-well. I mean, Vinny might have thought...I don't even..Blarg.

That better have been a one time thing.

Also, if that did take place in the same day, does this mean one of the reasons Jeff wasn't noticing how hurt Alex was at the time was because he was a little hopped up? Maybe not full blown high, but it does look like he took more than anyone reasonably should.

My brain has exploded. Ignore me.

Great catch!
