Also, the "short" jokes just made me laugh IRL and the customers keep looking at me.

I thought it was your chest that was canon. Come to think of it I've let my beard grow out so now we kind of look a bit alike. HAVE WE BEEN SEEN IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME???

Re: DillonHunter, I buy those convos because I've seen a number of others from other people with similar stuff - with HABIT name-dropping all sorts of horrific, war-torn locations he supposedly was just in.

TNC, HABIT didn't say Slendy 'took' Jessalyn, only that he was involved with what happened to her.

I bet she was delicious.

She's either dead or a Slendyslave, IMO. It doesn't really matter, at least not to us I think, because in the end I think SM only used her as bait and a psychological weapon for Jeff and Steph. If I'm wrong, there's any number of large, potentially bruising dead fish you can all club me with.

Okay those conversations were slightly hilarious. Where is this mythical HABIT Convo thread?
We still friends, TNC? :>

I still think she's buried in Jeff's shed.

I'm just pissing everyone off today aren't I. I'm at work, I can pretty much only glance at the screen for a few seconds every few minutes...

That would not totally surprise me anymore.

I love how the battles on here actually tend to have logic then go straight to the weird.
Anyway, if an e-mail was sent all we can do is wait.

Sometimes I wonder if because of the way HABIT will refer to himself as we that HABIT is trying to imply that it(if it really is what I have started to suspect) is a collective conscious of a great deal of people that are being brought together to help it gain power and BODY COUNT, doesn't always need to be a dead body count. have we thought BODY COUNT could have meant the amount of host or people that HABIT could channel himself through? If that is the case then well the trials certainly are doing a good job at creating that. Just because HABIT implies murder with the body count thing often doesn't mean it isn't some clever way of distracting us from the real point of it. But you know that's just my tree for the day.

TNC does have a point there doesn't have to be an alternate reality and yet there could be. There are many ways that things could go or be seen as because of the vague way things have been tackled at points.

If we are taking the Jessa is dead thing because of Jeff's closure line then we have another thing here. Why would Jessa need to be dead other than to upheave Jeff and Steph from a person they were both connected to? If the intent was to cause a bit of strife before their inevitable meeting of Steph than Jessa kind of was the best tool for that.

We don't know what the intent was, though, so its hard to make that kind of call. We don't know that she's dead either, of course. Smile I'm just flapping my mouth, don't mind me.

I think there may be some sort of alternate reality depicted in some videos - like 78of76 or whatever the exact numbers are - but I do not think the kids come from one and I do not think their current world is an alternate reality. I haven't even begun to deal with the idea of there being other universes in play. I'm focused on the potential for reality or time warping in one universe at the moment.

As for HABIT, I realize I'm geeking out and taking all my cues from The Exorcist and pop culture for no good reason but I sometimes doubt his word at times on the supposed scope of his power and knowledge or age (blame Max Von Sydow for telling me "the demon is a liar" in the movie). HABIT wants us to believe he is all-powerful and all-knowing, and indeed he does have all the Rabbits playing into his hands. I think what we need to do is stop asking him about today and find out instead more about where he came from. How does he react to talk of Evan's mother, who supposedly named HABIT? Or to the toy soldier? Does he pre-date '70s Evan? If he insists he does, can we trust that? Should we ask for evidence? Wouldn't he love to boast about that? And if we have that, then we might be able to determine that okay, yes, this thing existed before the '70s and is as old and powerful as it claims. Its language and claims about itself suggests it is modeled after all sorts of old Biblical stuff and myths and so on. I want to find out if that's actually the truth about HABIT, or if it started with one little boy and then metastasized into something sentient and viral. That's why I keep deliberating about raising him on Google Talk.

I do think he may be able to move between people or influence many at once, which I think may account for the tweet that said "WE ARE UNBREAKABLE." HABIT refers to himself as a singular presence, not a mass or a gestalt/group consciousness. Even if he inhabits or infects many, there appears to be a governing intellect behind it that the governed refer to. I think part of the trials at least may be to gather more victims for that gestalt. Maybe that's what his end of the deal is with Slendy.

Yeah I actually am very interested in the "I" and "We" that HABIT uses. I first wondered if he actually meant the royal "we", but he also uses "I", I am pretty sure. Idunno. I tried getting information out of his poem but drew a blank really. It feels like a hidden in plain sight type thing.
(By the way, I'm home now so I can pay proper attention to discussion!) :>

Well I'm glad.

I think that we have somewhere to go with the Jeff one and at least we know that HABIT didn't kill Jessa, and wasn't even involved. That "He" did it. I then got HABIT to say that "He" was Slender Man. So yeah, now we know that Slender Man is the one to blame for Jessa's disappearance.
