Twitter binary response speculation and account speculation

I did a search and didn't see any speculation on this yet so I thought I would make a topic for it. If you read through some of the comments on those pictures that Jay said he didn't upload you will notice that there are binary replys to them from mysterious twitter users.

E.I: http://twitter.com/Rotarepoeht
http://twitter.com/Namrednels (This one has a picture of what appears to be the operator)

Those are theoperator and slenderman when you reverse both of them.

Some of them are in an improper binary format unless you remove some extra numbers like this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
01010111 01100101 00100000 01110111 01101001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01110111 01100001 01101001 01110100 00100000 01100110 01101111 01110010 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01101110 01101111 00100000 01101101 01101111 01110010 01100101 001

Do you think that these are actual people part of the marble hornets production or other people trying to add to the story? If they are actually from the production then what is it all supposed to mean?

They're game-jackers. They're just trying to get some reflected attention by pretending to be part of the story.

As a rough rule of thumb:

>If you see an username that's something seemingly relevant written backwards, it's fake.

>If they're leaving messages in binary (especially if they translate to really cliched creepy guff like "We are watching you" or "We are near"), it's fake.

>If their avatar is a picture of slenderman or the (x) logo, it's fake.

>If they say creepy, appropriate things but don't actually add anything important to the story, it's fake.

>If it's not directly and clearly referenced by the main storyline, chances are, it's fake.

Yeah I was kinda leaning towards it being fake, you really just hammered it in for me though. It didn't really seem to fit in with the rest of the 3rd party response to J's updates. Tothearks videos were laced with fore-shadowing and complex secret messages. The pic's uploaded to Jay's twitter all had some form of secret code.

These responses have none of that.

You see the same thing on youtube. There's a few accounts on there that follow the same pattern and post videos in the style of TTA's in the hopes people will think they're part of the story. You can usually spot the legit ones accounts easily though; you can just tell they're done by the same people.

Another thing, It technically isn't Slenderman in the MH story.
It's a different entity based off Slenderman.
SO that second backwards name dude would be redundant anywaay.

Generally if Jay isn't fairly quick about pointing it out to us in a tweet/etc (like he did with TTA and continued to do every time TTA responded) you can go ahead and assume it's fake. Which would be... everything except TTA. :V
