Lewis didn't fall for it. He knows it's the wrong mountain. Damn. I hope I didn't make him angry. Any other suggestions as to how I can distract him without giving too much away?
EDIT:
Making some headway with Wallace's puzzle. amW1Tuv is 2691888 in phone code... which happens to be T.S.Eliot's birthday. The phrase "Time future contained in time past" is somehow linked, I'm sure of it.

Yeah, SpaceCoyote says it's from his story "Burnt Norton"...

so according to Leamas, most of it's misdirection:

Think what a man in his 50s would create as a puzzle, a man of humor in fact.
Look at the words as they were originally what do you see, then apply that to Wallace's character. Did you know that names have power, Wallace knows this.

Happy U are here again, JumboTron. Wallace just posted his meeting with Style (best evah) and looks like Leamas is your hard taskmaster, Thunderwolf.

Yay Louise! Aggressive women are awesome. Wallace's code is driving me nuts. I think I need to step back and look at the bigger picture.

Yaha, splintered. Just also got that email & am thinking maybe Leamas is giving us the 7 first letters of Wallace's PW.
Am only confident about "EH 259 PU" which is the coords of R oslin where Rosslyn Chape is located.
Also "4.52g silver" might be a G ros (coin) and (maybe again) "The Hyperspace T riangle in space-time has 6 points"

This was exactly what I turned up too. I also tried to think about how Wallace might have constructed the password. Tried various things like "DaVinci" and the like. even "D Brown" but no luck. Am chatting with Louise about it, maybe she can give me some insight.
also a H exagon is constructed from 6 points in space.

Okay Wallace told me that the answer lies inside the file. TS Eliot was just a blind. The poem itself is also window dressing.
What have you got left?
Good Luck.
L.
After talking with louise I have come to the conclusion that a) the original arrangement of letters in the hidden phrase was relevant (And fime tuture tontained in cime past.) and that the solution definitely has something to do with names.
So I did a search for wiliam (bill) archibald (archie) and spoons and found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Archibald_Spooner
I'm inching ever closer.

I think of space as being in three dimensions, rather than a flat hexagon. There was a sci-fi movie which used 6 locations in space (and a 7th coordinate for the point of origin) to navigate thru a wormhole...

I think that was Stargate and if I remember correctly it is 6 points in space (Daniel Jackson played by James Spader used a cube to demo) for a location/destination and the 7th was the point of origin. I'm sure IMDB probably has the complete quote.

Cracked it.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Spooner. I'm going to kill Wallace when I meet him. grrr.
OK so after reading the Drake transcript I get the impression that if whatever Maad was looking for falls into the wrong hands we're ALL in big trouble.
The pictish stone mentioned is shown here:
from this site: http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/abernethy/roundtower/index.html
and the Crescent and V rod symbol looks like this:
.
So it seems Tartarus is a mystic WMD, and Danny Drake is one of the guardians.
We absolutely cannot let Lewis get any of this information.

Curious, how did you come about the PW?

Thunder, you even found TEH stone. Working out that Leamas' only-for-noncorporeals-and-Wallace hints were maybe leading to a poker term, a rag bet , meaning a card that's bad to play (like this "mystic WMD").
Thunder, you should so email Wallace and put the hurt on him & yaha that info is frightening.
