Entering numbers into the Places and Pool boxes in the Black Box applet returns currency (Pounds) figures on the right. They could also be coordinates.
The Crumb section ??? But Rael Dornfest has something called BreadCrumbs.

Convert calculates Celsius into Fahrenheit...

Places / Pool relates to betting. For example, in horse racing, you can do bet on a horse to finish in (normally) the first 3 or 4 places. The Pool would relate to the size of the bet you make (e.g. £100, £500, £1000)...

Lost on Crumb

(Interesting twist this ARG has taken)

I think the youtube video is more about the mysterious Bob than any clue to Black Box

Have you looked at the Black Box java applet?

I've downloaded and unzipped all the files, but I can't seem to open the Black Box file. Can some one please post the file here, so I can try downloading again.

you guys are making me log in to post from work :p

Too fast! Could someone please go back to explain the steps? /bob.html has only two files that i can see, and one is an odd file extension I don't know what to do with. Apparently some of you have extracted data from it? Could you post the pieces, or explain what I need to do?

As for the text file, if you scroll *way* down after the youtube parameters, there is another text bit:
won3x3too3x3 - Pewx Orsar Izirx
I already know what the last bit is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ROT into Last Known Event

p.s. if anyone knows where I hang out in IRC, let's find a place to work together.

You need Java installed. Look at the latest posting on http://www.missingwallace.net/case.html for instructions

Try this:

Where ever you have the Blackbox.jar file saved, do a right-click on it and go to Open With -> Java(TM) Platform

Type Edward Maad into the Crumb field of the Black Box and you will see:
Chyfaill = Friend

This has taken an interesting turn!
Must-keep-up. I have a habit of losing track of games like this...

Welsh file terms

Alla chyfnertha 'ch= I can help you

Chyfaill = Friend (TY ModalRealism)

seiniau=sounds, tones

gogrwn=dazed, sift, riddle, sifting, riddling

mapio=maps

darlun=a picture

Plus: alaw i mewn at 'r egni= tune in to the energy (TY booba)

alli chlyw ai gwrandawch=you can hear or listen (maybe hinting at an acoustic device?)

**Am just home from Yoga. Think Catherwood's IRC idea is super. Will update Welsh terms in this post.**

I sort of accidentally managed to open the source code on the Black Box java applet. I found the keywords that would elicite a response from the Shibboleth button - put it in the spoiler below:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

'r Chysgadur --- The Sleeper
Alla chyfnertha 'ch --- I can help you
bau --- Country
seiniau --- Sounds
Undiscovered Country --- The Future
PXHUPV --- This is not a code breaker. GIGO!
Edward Maad --- Chyfaill
Chyfaill --- This is not a translator
orbis --- Circle
unentdeckt --- Undiscovered
conspiracy --- The truth encircled by lies and heresy
Shibbeloth --- Who are you with?
