Well, I've read the trailhead and I must say I find this extremely interesting ^^

However, I have a little question...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
On the sourcecode of http://thewrach.com/aaron/ , you can see a part of the code where it says "Yes clues can be hidden here too". I have no clue of where's that supposed to lead to...

Any ideas?

I don't think the game has ended, perhaps more clues have been released and the Wrach's game has moved on. However, we haven't caught up yet. :S

@diego:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It actually says, "Yesclusecanbehiddenheretoo". Found that slightly weird, so I typed it into google.

"Cluse"- A clue or gorge is a form of relief Jura. It is a valley cut perpendicularly into a mountain by a river...

One of the links on the page, lead to the page, "La Clusaz", a specific area in France.
Source: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Clusaz

However, the picture on the right side of the screen caught my eye. Doesn't it remind you of IOUIDO 2.0, and the scene in which you can see out the window, into the snow and surrounding area?

IOUIDO3.1

I wasn't going to double-post however there's some new information and still some unresolved questions.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Wrach posted this on twitter, a while back (16 Jan):
TheWrach
68.180.206.184TheWrach.mp3

The Wrach
Sometimes its the outside of a file that means the most, follow Internet Protocol to save the boy.

"68.180.206.184" led to a "Sorry, the page you requested was not found" on Yahoo and I got confused. However, the Wrach has a photostream on Flickr.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/58206991@N04/

The numbers are similar yet arranged in a different format. On the photostream, there's two photos labelled IOUIDO3.1 The first picture is the outside of a red telephone box and the next picture is of the inside.

"Save the boy! on the 11/2/2011 call 020 3287 1444 from this call box at 11.11AM".

Live feed (17 Jan): Still no idea what occurred during the broadcoast?

One of the comments left by wrach says to "Ask Dusty" for the adress of the phone box. No idea what that means, the only thing concerning dusty and phoneboxes was this http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=47985
Anyway, the number we are required to call is of a webhosting company sales department: http://en-gb.facebook.com/pages/Umlo-Geeksheep/120416238028585?v=info
Any ideas?

an idea

I'm in london - going to call the phone box and see if anyone answers - then ask them where the phone box is!!!
Here goes...
edit - someone picked up - yay!
they didn't understand, said nothing and tried to make a call...!!! might not be able to hear me - will try again in a minute or two...

while ringing - now found this... http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&oe=UTF-8&num=100&ie=UTF8&q=london+payphone&fb=1&hq=payphone&hnear=Westminster,+London,+United+Kingdom&ll=51.505751,-0.141106&spn=0.074153,0.142479&z=12&source=embed none of them our number though - but if thats ALL of them? then perhaps looking through street map views to find it?

ok none of those, nor these:
http://www.payphonebox.com/search/label/london

both useful sites for pms though and players alike... Wink

still yet to find - ringing again
edit::
still no answer
also - bt payphone enquiries can't give out details due to data protection gumph - sigh - tried - will try once more

idea, instead of focusing on finding the phonebox, how about instead, we make it so the number we call from appears as the phoneboxes one >__> if the number on the inside is what i think it is...

I feel like i've just watch the video from The Ring.

Just read through this, may try and get involved. When you call a phonebox they can definitely hear you, i've done this before (prank calls when i was younger, lol). I will read through this thread more when i get the chance.

Dusty is Ricky's girlfriend. She's on Twitter - I've sent her a message but, really, how do you go about asking someone where a phonebox is? There may be a hint in a previous comment she made saying The Bowery was a cool place they both used to hand about at, although that might relate to something else.

Edit - The Bowery could be this music venue in London, http://www.thebowerylondon.co.uk/

Google Streetview shows a phonebox just outside....

I'm wondering if the reason they've chosen a specific box isn't just so they can view the incoming number but also as something might be left in, or nearby, the box?

caller ids and such...

I'm also thinking you'll have to do something frm the phonebox - go outside and meet/take/collect/indicate etc...
also - they'll probably have caller id and see from which number you're phoning from?

no bollards - in the flickr pic - narrow street and bollards - no bollards in new oxford street area...
we're looking for somewhere which has a large hotel type building in it at one end by a corner [from reflection] bollards, cafes [umbrella/parasols and is narrow residential street - double yellow lines and bollards - central london from the telephone number though
not spoken to dusty before... any response yet? Ive just posted but nothing back...
to be fair though - google has 'the fly' shown, not the bowery......
still no answer from the payphone,,,

Crescent, It's a pity people won't pick up the phone but I can imagine it must be creepy when a phone in a phone box randomly rings. :S

Dagada, I thought it must be near the place called the Bowery too, since that the only place Dusty has recently mentioned. But I guess not.

Haven't heard any reply from Dusty yet, she has a new tweet up:
6th Feb: going out for drinks tonight Smile Perhaps we haven't gotten a reply back because they want to release the information\location at the last minute?

Last thing, the countdown on the Wrach's website is nearing the end, only three days left.

Only just joined in this, looking really interesting. Currently catching up...

I'm thinking with the phone box number, there is no point in calling it at random because you're just going to end up talking to strangers on the street who probably wont be able to help, unless there is something physically in the phone box. I've prank called phone boxes before when i was younger and people do actually tend to pick it up, surprisingly. If a specific person is meant to pick it up then there has to be a time and date, or the countdown could be a time to try ringing it?
If it's at a reasonable time of day when i'm not at work i can give it a try, but i haven't been following this from the start.
