My favorite (while unlikely) theory is that Jessica is an antagonist. She knows Jay's memory was erased because she had some part in it. She's taking advantage of that by becoming his only interaction, gaining his trust, and slowly pulling information out of Jay in the hopes she'll get something that can lead her and her other minion friends somewhere...perhaps a type of boat...one that is generally known to carry animals during floods...I think you know what I'm getting at so all of her "symptoms" are just things she's learned might be related to prolonged contact with out tall friend, most likely from The Mighty 'Burns (aka Tim). She's gone because, whatever was said during their chat, she got what she needed and could send in Masky to dispose of Jay, who is no longer valuable to her quest

I have a theory along semifamous13 line of thought, that Jessica could be planted bait sent by TTA so he can control Jay more. But I prefer to think of her as another victim and was kidnapped.

I like this theory, but see one problem with it. If she really was out to get information from J, then why leave when he was perhaps about to spill his guts to her in a figurative sense? I mean someone finally comes along who he can relate to and so he thinks maybe he can talk to her just to not feel so....alone. Masky sure put the kebosh to that. Way to be

I had assumed that the masky attack took place after he explained everything he knows. While i'm not sure what she may have needed to know, it's possible it could have come out during his explaination in her room.

Don't forget that J doesn't remember the last several months. There's no evidence yet, of course, but Jay and Jessica may have met and gotten acquainted during that time before both of their memories were erased.

That would explain him seeming familiar to her, and is more likely than her being related to the Marble Hornets film shoot, unless she was the girl in the back seat that was never shown in season one, as some have speculated.

I think I just wouldn't put it past TTA that, now knowing Jessica and J have met, show the last bit of footage to show her in the back of the car or as a camera person

even if to just show how much Jay's memory relies on what is on camera.

Say he see her on a new TTA video, just to suddenly remember how much he DID know her. Since Alex never saw her on the camera, he doesn't remember her either, therefore not mentioning her as one of the lost

Am I the only one who's starting to think that maybe Jessica IS TTA? This would mean that TTA and Masky are two separate people, but I mean is it that farfetched of an idea?

I don't know, just trying to keep all possibilities open.

Also, sorry for resurrecting a thread that may be considered dead. Thought it was better than starting a whole new one or posting in in a more recent but unrelated thread. If I've made some kind of faux pas, just let me know.

Kind of minor and random, but does anybody think Jay might have something to do with Jessica getting "kicked out of her house?"

Jessica is Jay. Jay from another dimension where he's actually a woman.

Seriously though. As for the Masky-in-Jessica's-Room theory, it's possible that shes an antagonist working with Masky. Either that or another victim on Mr. Thin, dumped together with Jay like a rat in a maze.
