[Puzzle] Ethan's Deleted posts (loose ends) There are still a couple missing Ethan posts, also. I'll post the solution in a couple days if nobody finds them.

There was a day where some posts went up, and were semi-quickly deleted by Ethan. This was noticed/discussed in IRC at the time, and attributed to being a PM mistake, but don't be silly, PMs make no mistakes!

So, this is one of them? I'm guessing that if it stayed in the blog, it would be something like http://ethan.thenekodas.com/archives/2003_10.html#000270, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not sure where they would have gone once deleted. You can use some of the "hidden" scripts to get the title of it, but I definitely think that is out of game. Perhaps he put them somewhere else for backup?
For reference, the "missing" entry that he is talking about is entry #270.

Ok, they have multiple archive methods set up, both monthly and individual archiving. This means that you can use something like http://ethan.thenekodas.com/archives/2003_11.html to access the archives for November, but also can use http://ethan.thenekodas.com/archives/000271.html to access that particular entry.
However, when the archives were rebuilt, http://ethan.thenekodas.com/archives/000270.html disappeared...perhaps we have to find another place that is backed up...

Bah, that's not fair! Those were posted before 271 but have higher numbers. Nice find.

Actually, it makes sense now that it was not 270. #270 is a legit entry in Dina's blog. I guess they use the same numbering for both blogs. Actually, i feel like kicking myself for not doing something like what I attach earlier; nonetheless, here it is.
As you can see, they change the numbering system between Oct. 18th and Oct. 20th; 000002 and 000005 are also double-logged as 000021 and 000022 (or we are missing a load of entries, in which case I would never advocate anyone to do anything unethical to see if there is anything between 000031 and 000260 (which is how far back I checked)).
Also, those files that we are not supposed to look_at/know_they_exist are missing a lot of stuff. And, the numbers get all screwed up from Oct. 30 forward. I guess I was hoping to find some of Dina's "deleted" entries, but there are no in-between #s missing (as far as I can tell) beyond what Ehsan has found (=272, 273).
P.S. This reminds me of what happened to Beth's archive numbers... um... I hope I'm not missing another chunck of the plot here.

Wow, nice spreadsheet! If you can use Word and type 40 words/min too, you could temp for $20/hr in NYC. You only work in one place for 2 weeks at a time, but every time you leave, you get to tell your boss to &^%# your *!^#^%.

Wow, excellent find!
The "Troubling" one is definitely the one I saw that day, and "Sleep" is obviously what Catherwood saw.
See, folks? We weren't hallucinating!
