Like I said, I could be wrong. Guess I was.

Maybe we could contact someone at Warner Bros. or even the Wach Bros. and ask what they have copywrites on and if it is ok to use some of these ideas. I don't know if anyone has the "hookups" to ask about that, but I think it is worth a try.

Getting into a bit of copyright law here:

As Banktime said, it doesn't matter how someone uses material - if you copy it without permission, it is copyright infringement. And not having a (c) symbol next to something makes no difference. In a court of law, any good lawyer will be able to show that they established first use.

Now the real sticky issue is how much they value intellectual rights. Fan-based art and merchandise has been around for quite awhile for many different things. The reality is that as long as it stays "under the radar" and is never used for profit, no one is likely to show up with a lawsuit. To them, it's a cost-vs-benefits analysis: Is it worth it to spend money on a legal team in order to sue a group of people who have made 24 or so t-shirts based on a concept or idea that is probably not heavily guarded? Not at all.

It would be different if we were making hundreds and selling them at sci-fi conventions, or using a phrase such as "Warner Brothers presents The Matrix: Revolutions by The Wachowski brothers".

You definitely need some Girl T-shirts and maybe a bumper sticker!

How about just a white T-Shirt that says "Texel is here."

That is sufficiantly ambigous and catchy. I bet that could catch on as well as "Andre Has a Posse / Obey" thingy. You know it would.

And a white bumpersticker that says that, you know it would be on my car.

So I whipped one out. Looks good. Simple. Elegant. Clinical. Attached...

Consider it done. Once we come up with a name and logo I'll do a whole bunch of stuff. Wanna do it up right!

Maybe a baseball shirt for men like the female one, only not a girl shirt.

That's pretty cool I liek that one. I think make the Font a little bigger. Maybe a different color, but I would not change that line expcept for your to you're.

Alright, here is my three concepts for shirts so far. The two with the arched text would be a polo style, the other a tshirt. All three black shirts.

I'd suggest leaving the Meta logo horizontal (rather than bendy). Otherwise nice work.

Bumber stickers are a cool idea: how about something by Random or Scratch? Random because he just cool, or Scratch because he's so full of angst some of his quotes are bound to flow over into bumper-stickerdom.

Definitly bumper stickers. I'll work on sometonight and put them up.

I kinda like it bendy. Almost like a professional golf or company shirt.

How about we come up with a logo game centric and another ARG centric. I see a split for both.
