I approve of this.
Theoretically, it wouldn't mean the end of Jay as a character - just Jessica discovering Jay's tapes from the past 7 months, and watching/commenting on them whilst exploring her situation alongside it.

Jessica said that she might have gone to that park as a child. Does that mean she's from the area or was she just lying?
I wondered about a "Jessica as child in park ~ SM" possibility before and now with that dream...I wonder if J has also been having dreams.

When Jessica asked J if he had been having memory loss and he remained silent, I yelled "TELL HEEEEER! TELL HEEEEER!" in my head. Also, I loved how when J told her she'd have to leave, she accepted it and trusted him. If their conversations are filmed, it should be very interesting. J's now the one in the position of knowing more, unlike when he was up against Masky. Why would people think he's in trouble just because there hasn't been Entry 33? They left the hotel, who knows when he'll get internet access?

We don't know if masky is good or evil, insane and mysterious or sane and acting the part, the Operator's slave or his enemy, for or against Jay... Masky is so undefined. We've never (to my knowledge) seen one that isn't the one that is seemingly Tim, with the possible exception of the October twitpic.

And yet that's the one part of masky that people here keep claiming we DON'T know. They say we have no idea who masky is or how many there are when it seems reasonably cut-and-dried that there is probably one, and he is most likely Tim.

TL;DR, stop trying to pretend we know anything about masky. We clearly don't. And stop using him as a stop-gap in your theories.

i have never claimed to know who masky is, and i haven't watched S1 recently enough to remember which guy tim is

[neither do i have currently have any theories involving masky, at the moment]

and her going maskey is a definite, pretty foreshadowed possibility, all i meant was, it wouldn't fit the narrative as we've seen it so far for jess to go masky this soon

though, as i think on it, they could do it to introduce more characterisation in J[which they appear to be ramping up in S2], which i hadn't considered before

but even so- i doubt it'd happen next ep, unless it just has her dissapear[and return later maskeyish]

Well, it's not like we have absolute anatomical proof that Masky is male, but body type, haircut, and movement all sort of point to Masky being a guy.

Oh yeah, also: Masky has wicked sideburns. So I guess maybe we DO have absolute anatomical proof, ha ha.

 		Seems quite some time since that 'I'll be right back' Entry was posted yesteday. It looks like the consensus is that whatever's coming next, it sure as hell isn't going to be the 'we're all okay, nothing happened' video.

Am I the only one bracing myself?

 		I didn't like the way Jessica looked before she closed the door.
And the whole entry has the feeling of something REALLY bad going on.
I have some bad feeling about Jay coming inside her room and finding her dead and|or Slendy himself there.

I wouldn't think so, this next entry really should set up the next major plot for this season. I was hoping J was going to do twitter updates through the night, kinda like when he went to the Red Tower, but once I realized that that wasn't the case, I started preparing for one hell of a next entry!

Sorry, I really just used your post as a springboard for a lot of my frustrations about this forum's treatment of masky. Nevertheless, if it is your opinion, then present it as such, not as fact.

And it's actually not all that foreshadowed that Jess might become masky. The same evidence could be used to support the thought that masky has been messing with Jess as he did with Jay first season. We're just getting an observer's pov instead of the abused.
