Mm, true, it's just the phrasing that's putting me off. It DOES make me wonder though just what seemed to tip Jay off that he needed to leave now. Was he noticing something that he hasn't shared with us? Or what? It's very strange that he suddenly, despite having been there for weeks, no seems to embody the same panic urge that Jessica was showing in the video.

His immediate want to leave is...well, given his growing paranoia, again, isn't THAT odd but...the rush of the video and upload really makes me think there is something we're missing here, why else would he suddenly want to move when before hand nothing else was showing up any signs that he needed to move right away?

Ignoring the obvious distortion in this video, of course, but that wouldn't be obvious from the cameraman angle when recording.

 		I don't remember actually seeing Slendy in this entry, but towards the end of the video, when J puts the camera down, the same kind of visual tearing that usually happens right before he appears occurred.

The latter basically means J is an idiot. It's the former, and Jessica is a bad actor for this.

 		Well, in any case, if Totheark uploads a response it probably won't be for 2 or 3 days. That's usually the amount of time he waits before responding, right? I only checked the upload date on one video, so I dunno.

 		Is it just me or does the audio and visual distortion get more severe and/or longer lasting as the video goes on. I might be imagining it but it really drives home the imminent danger.

I didn't even notice o:

Either way it means Slendy was defiantly close by. J probably wanted to leave so fast because he saw him.

EDIT: Yeah, when Jessica stops talking J keeps trying to look in the room to the left, my guess is he saw him through the window and assumed he caught him on camera, which is why he didn't explain that he saw him. Either that or he just figured he didn't have time.

 		I'm thinking Slendy might actually make some more appearances around Jay this season, considering Jessica is clearly a stalkee (unless she's faking all this... I REALLY hope not). Maybe there's a shot we'll see Alex this season too(?) That I AM hoping for. Maybe they'll meet at a SSA meeting (Slender-Stalked Anonymous), not to be confused with a TTA meeting. [/badwordplay]

Also, slightly OT, but I'm confused why there's this obsession with her 'smirk'. I honestly didn't even realize she had it until it was highlighted. I took it as 'she's hysterical, scared'. I've found myself smiling or laughing in those moments as well, so it's not like it's killing the immersion, unless I guess you wouldn't consider her hysterical.

The point I took from this is that the actress portraying Jessica is getting better, leaps forward from her first appearances in S2. I'm willing to let a 'smirk' slide. This whole train of thought probably belongs more in the OT thread than in here anyway.

I'm not trying to be a troll, but I just don't get the nit picking with the acting. It's not awful, and I'm more drawn in by her character than most of the main characters of other Slendy ARGs, so that speaks something to me. Maybe I'm just distanced because I'm a newcomer, but did people get this irritated about Brian and Alex/Joseph's acting in early S1? Cause it wasn't much better than this.

(Edit: Spelling mistakes... I hate 'em...)

He won't say "My friend was stalked by a tall dude without a face, And i'm being stalked by a guy with a mask." Even though that does pretty much sum it up.

I kind of like how that last one stopped the distortion. *easily amused*

BUT!
Also, video distortion. Not the general, fuzzy stuff on Jay (because, as much as I love that...it's just for my own theory purposes), but the legit stuff.

But the heaviest visual distortion comes when she's talking about her sleep habits.

-visual tearing- "I can't sleep" -screen almost goes completely dark- "but when I do sleep I think I'm sleepwalking" -video returns to normal-

That last chunk looks positively demonic, IMO. Calling our attention back to the banging, most likely.
It also happened when she tried to close her door again. Something hiding back there? Possiblyyyyy~!

Also, this isn't video, but the audio got really heavily distorted when she said "I know something's going on." Might be something about the knowing, might just be for emphasis.

 		What with them being alone in the hotel and the screengrab of the face in the dark in Entry 30, I'm wondering if totheark drugged and stashed Jay and Jess at the hotel to either keep them safe or bait Slendy or something like that. I mean we have no explanation for the drugs or the lost time or why they've found themselves at the same place with nobody else around. Why would Slendy or Masky put them in adjoining hotel rooms?

Maybe totheark keeps the drugs in the safe.

It's not bad acting as much as it is breaking a habit. I played a male character in a scene, and the director always had to remind me to not cross my legs when I sat down. I'm a good actor, but she probably isn't aware that she's doing it, like how I wasn't aware that I was crossing my legs.

Of course, it could also be because she just learned that she isn't alone in slender-hell, and is relieved. I mean, I'd smile too if it was happening to me.
