Hello this is the first ARG I have gone and joined. In other words I am not really sure what I am doing or am suposed to do. I have played around with cryptology here and there (thank you Sir Arthur C. Doyle) but not much. So any tips and or sugestions for good learning material books and their ilk?

Unfortunately, in terms of stretching your puzzle-solvin'-legs, Marble Hornets is not ideal. Much of the information we've been given has been analysed to death, mainly because we don't get puzzles often.

If you want to get some real puzzlin' done, I'd suggest getting involved in one of the smaller ARGs over at the News and Rumours section.

Still, MH is great to keep up with and the story is brillo. Stick around!
