As awesome as this entry was, am I the only one who thinks that what totheark does in the video is too nonsensical even for him?

He gave Jay the combination to the safe, which means he knew it all along, and when Jay opens the safe and finds the tapes (which TTA must have known about), he gets attacked out of the blue?? Shocked

That's just irrational and contradictionary, and we're talking about a man who has long since lost his sanity to The Operator.

 		This entry just reminded me of something.

Whenever Masky showed up in season 1, I always got the impression that he was being kinda playful, almost childish. I got the same feeling here again.

I don't mean harmless - Entry#33 isn't the first time he's attacked Jay - but even when he is attacking Jay, something about the way he does it just gives me a sense that it's like a big game; like if you were to take his mask of he'd have a massive grin on his face underneath.

Think about #19, where we see Masky posing in various spots in Jay's room. He's playing with him!

So, I have to agree with the folks here who reckon Masky was only trying to scare Jay off in #33, and not really trying that hard to chase him. Got to wonder why though.

Also, I'm wondering if rather than planting the tapes or the combination for the safe, Masky had been waiting all along for Jay to get it open because he wanted the tapes himself. That'd explain why he appeared when he did and tried to chase Jay away - he just didn't anticipate getting a maglite to the skull!

I don't think we should take it for granted that Masky left Jay the safe combination just because of the (x) logo. It's possible that Jay wrote it himself and forgot, and it's even possible that Jess wrote it - we just don't know. It'd make a lot more sense if it WASN'T Masky who wrote it.

this isn't necessarily true; you're assuming that masky is an agent of slenderman and that he's malevolent. most of us agree that jay was meant to get the things from the safe, but that he's meant to do these things he's doing alone. think about it, masky didn't chase jay and he didn't really fight much. if he had wanted that bag he would have tried harder to take it, brained with a maglight or not.

you may also have missed the hand on the door, he could have been peeking at jay to know when he had all of the stuff from the safe out so that he didn't chase him off before everything was secure.

he wants jay to watch everything, and he wants him to keep it safe and secure.

 		Does J's camera use tapes? Entry #29 was found hidden on his hard drive so I can't help but think these tapes are from Alex or TTA rather than J, so I'm curious to find out.

Not to mention he probably knew the combination all along. I mean, who else wrote down the combination to the safe and planted it where J would find it, but not in his room?

The only other possibility is that Jessica herself did it, either conciously or unconciously.

Anyone else thinking J didn't quite act very clever here? We know there's hotel staff around, he could have gone back immediately with security (saying some masked guy just attacked him ought to do it) and retreive his stuff.

 		I'm not entirely sure why no one thinks its possible that Jay just closed his door fully when the visual tear occurs in 32? Honestly, I would. Even if I WAS starting to trust Jessica, I wouldn't trust her enough to be able to bum-rush me while I uploaded the video and packed.

The way he picks up the camera off the desk at the start of #33 signals me that this IS immediately after he uploaded #32 otherwise there would have been the conversation with Jessica too. The discrepency in time is because he's been zomg bolting trying to find a new place to hide out and process all this stuff. Remember, there may only be a 15ish tapes, but that portable drive could be 1-2TB. If he continued his self recording over the past 7 missing months, that makes 219 days or 5,256 hours. Who knows how much he might have crammed on there?

 		I really don't think Masky gave J the code. I think Jessica figured it out, but obviously thought it was for her own safe.. I'm going to guess that she fled somewhere, much like J just did.

Maybe Masky chasing him was kinda a 'hurry the fuck up and leave' thing.. Or a 'you're on your own, no moar Jessica.'

I also think that maybe Masky was getting J out of there because something slendery happened to Jessica.. Just a theory. Smile

Also, he didnt pay..

Another important observation: J says nothing about memory loss. I'm going to cross out my previous theory then, since memory loss is a slender effect.. Not so much Masky.

He mentions early on that he saves them straight to his hard drive.. Perhaps then, the tapes are from Alex...

Right now, after getting the hell out of dodge and keeping one eye open at all times, I bet it'll be finding Alex. After watching the tapes and the hard drive... you know what, after that, I bet something will come to light that makes it more important for him to find Jessica! That'd be cool (I liked her! I would like her back in the story!) although it would set up a potentially annoying "the princess is in another castle" scenario. I'm less sure about that being a good idea. XD

 		I was going to post a bit, but VV covered most of what I was thinking on T[im]TA showing up.
A couple of other things: TTA looks like he had a good Christmas all that extra weight since Entry ###### made me think it wasn't him for a little while.

Did Jay actually hit TTA with the flash light to the face all I can see is Jay getting a slap and then running away. If Jay got a full swing in on TTA he would of done a lot more damage and could of continued beating him down into submission. Which I would of loved to see, as much as I love TTA due to Chaotic Neutral characters always get my engine running, Jay manning up Evan style would of been a lot better for me.

Also we didn't see Jessicas bathroom, TTA could of sedated her and hid her in there. Just practicing a bit of Occams razor.
