It's true that the camera Jay normally uses doesn't use tapes, but since he took the video off of Alex's tapes, he must have a tape camera of some kind, or else he would've had no way to get the video onto his computer. Jay even said in entry #23 that he had cameras other than the one we usually see.

Granted, the tapes probably aren't Jay's, but it's still possible.

Ooh. I like this, actually. Just thinking about it now without actually going back to look at the videos, I'm pretty sure every time Masky has popped up it is entirely possible that he was trying to chase J away from a sketchy place to keep him from being slenderized, and his methods are just so scurry that it's pretty hard not to misinterpret them. After all, the first time Masky charges him and he blacks out, what happens? J wakes up safe and sound in his car. And, although mega fucking creepy, I think it can be argued that lurking in J's room could have been his way of trying to keep watch over him to prevent a Slender Visit - and when Slendy DOES show up, whatever Masky did makes him glide right past J (what's that TTA video? Return? I have all the lazy).

I'm not totally in the "Masky is good!" mindset, because so far it's been pretty hard to distinguish whether he's attacking or chasing away, but I definitely think it's a possibility.

On another note, J. Bro. If it was so important that Jessica leave HER door open, why the jesus did you close YOURS? You totally got that bitch kidnapped. Nice one.

Did Jay actually hit TTA with the flash light to the face all I can see is Jay getting a slap and then running away. If Jay got a full swing in on TTA he would of done a lot more damage and could of continued beating him down into submission. Which I would of loved to see, as much as I love TTA due to Chaotic Neutral characters always get my engine running, Jay manning up Evan style would of been a lot better for me.

Also we didn't see Jessicas bathroom, TTA could of sedated her and hid her in there. Just practicing a bit of Occams razor.


Man, all this talk of Masky getting chunky! I didn't see it at all. The guy was always on the solid side, that jacket isn't exactly form-flattering, and I think this is the first time we've gotten a good look at Tim in motion. Pssh. Y'all.

As for 'did Jay actually smack Masky', well, Masky did end up falling over onto the bed at one point right after his own attempted little bitchslap, so either Jay smacked him good right then, or Masky... knocked himself over. Which, really, would just be embarrassing.

 		Bravo, MH! I'm not a masky fangirl, but I squealed pretty hard when he showed up. The way it was shot was near-perfect to get the desired effect.

I finally see where got the piece of paper too, which is good. I thought that bit was a little cheesy till now. Him just having it.

Oh hey, the combination is the year backwards. That is a terrible combination. Maybe meant to invoke, here is everything that happened pre-2011.

 		I want to think that Jessica wrote the safe combination and got the hell out of the building, and that pissed off TTA, so he ran Jay out of the building to (hopefully) reunite with Jessica.

Also on the limp thing, like someone else had said, that's just physical acting. Exorcist-esque Jelly legs are ALWAYS scarier that just a brisk walk.

Lol he is wearing the coat zipped up could just be a bit of a bag but still...

Also I didn't see him fall on the bed, just the momentum of the slap hitting the camera making it spin and Jay high tailing it. Also it looks like TTA ran back into Jessica's room but that could just be me.

 		That really isn't clear enough evidence for me at least. I've done years worth of sparring in MMA to know how the human body moves in fights, looks like TTA put a full swing into his slap/palm strike but only caught Jay's camera maybe making him stumble a little forward when he didn't connect like he was meant to but nothing more than that. This is all in my opinion anyway, I could easierly be wrong due only seeing through Jay's waving camera.

Why does Masky run into the room, pass J and then stand his his back/profile to him? Was he going for the safe? Was he going for J's bag? Was he running from Slendy?

I'm with you, Night Prowler. I thought he was smacked with the mag light at first, but after a 3rd/4th/5th viewing, the camera movement and Masky's movement in response don't seem to follow 'hit in the head with big flashlight' and honestly, Jay's movement after he gets smacked doesn't make it seem like he's swung at him (at least not too hard). Masky may have leapt for Jay again, not fallen. It's hard to tell between shakey-cam and distortion, though, so I may be wrong.

But yeah... this entry! Watched @ 2am, alone, in the dark. Scared the ever-loving bejeezus out of me... and I'm SO glad it did! Anxious for more video now!

Yeah fair point, also note worthy that these are just twenty something film students, not exactly fighting pros. Still my original point is there isn't any evidence that Jay hits TTA with the flash light, it would be awesome yes but still it just looks like Jay took a hit and ran.

 		Finally registered because of this video. (It's the first one of the whole Marble Hornets run to actually get my heartrate pumping.)

It seems to me - after a second watching - that Masky smacks Jay, Jay maybe pushes him away and then definitely goes for the maglight, Masky turns around and comes back at Jay, and Jay scampers with the light and his bag. It doesn't look like Jay ever smacks him with the light, but it does all happen very quickly.

 		I know this has been covered, but Masky is TOTALLY limping. He even puts out his arm to support himself on the wall when he runs out of the room into the hallway.
