*Facepalm* Yeah, I knew there would be some holes in my theory, but that just kinds drove a mac truck through it without me even seeing it. Oh well, I guess saying Totheark is impatient doesn't cover it.

For the password Totheark may have had a lot of time to try all the different things he could think of for Twitter, but only had a few hours each time J left to fiddle with the safe. And he would still have to dodge room cleaning too.

I really want to see what his motivation for all the stuff he's done is too. If he turns out to just be there to drive the plot along it would be a waste of a good character. Really, I just want to see a confrontation between J and Totheark that will answer some questions or at least add something we can understand or analyze and not devolve into slap fights on or off camera.

All of J's current recording equipment runs on digital storage. Either he for some reason used a different computer during the blackout or the tapes aren't of the blackout.

Maybe during the 7 months, Jay and Alex ran into each other.


The collision caused Jay to lose his memory.

But seriously, they found eachother, they searched for clues, then something happened that not only seperated them, but wiped their memories of the events of the last 7 months. That would explain why Jay had booked into a room and why all those tapes were there. He and alex filmed them together.

Sorry to derail, but...

Exactly how in-depth has the possibility of our masked figure being J-from-the-future been discussed? And could the physical differences just be chalked up to low budget?

Because the more I think about it, the more it jibes with... almost everything. What if J was being manipulated and pointed toward something... by himself? because events had to change slightly in order to free himself or some such nonsense? And who better than himself to drop important cues along the way, just when things are at their strangest? This would also give a perfectly good explanation as to TTA (assuming they're the same of course) having access to J's feed/youtube account... AND explain the need for the mask all at once.

Then again, could it be possible that the while the masked figure isn't J, ToTheArk is? What if whatever he saw in those tapes caused him to dissociate, forcing his "other side" to hide portions of what he had, sending messages in code to his conscious self to to try and save whatever needs saving? And if this is the case, could this "other side" actually be allied with our masked figure without his waking self having a clue?

I agree with your points up until the TTA sections. We really don't know enough TTA/Masky's motives to really say anything -- including whether they're even the same entity.

I need someone else's input on this, but I remember hearing SOMEWHERE before seeing the Season 2 entries, that Jay and another person had gotten together and that Jay had a memory gap. Maybe in one of the entries or it might have been an OOG post by Troy. Can someone help me out here? I had this subconscious feeling that Jay and Jess (before even SEEING Jess on screen) checked into the hotel together but I have no idea where it came from.

We've pretty much mined this to the core, so I'm sorry for bringing this to the top of the forum list but I found this amuzing. the amount of views starting with 27 has been steadily declining. The last entry has about 71,000 and this one (entry 33) has over 90,000.
