 		I really hope it doesn't turn out to be a case of "It was Patrick all the time, lol!" I'd hate to find out that growing to like Michael was just the result of Patrick playing mind games for shits and giggles.

Any other suggestions for passwords? I'm trying to think of any words that Michael used frequently or something associated with him. Tron? I'm assuming it isn't going to be something like adj#!jdj26aidiw834892!!#4

 		Michael (in Patrick mode) is imo most definitely being manipulated and 'possessed' by Slendy like a puppet on a string. I also believe the absence of Michael and Shaun's parents are due to the pure speculation that Michael killed them as a child, albeit as 'Patrick.'

I don't have any direct evidence of this, and I've been out of the Slendy world for several months so I might have missed something blatantly obvious, but I think it's a fair enough assumption. Taking this for granted I can also speculate that Shaun knows Michael killed them, especially considering considering Patricks comments, "You knew me..." etc etc. Shaun has probably repressed those memories. As a previous poster said, Michael made some very assertive remarks that he would never hurt his family, however, Patrick seems to be a wholly separate entity. And it's pretty clear that Michael has hurt Shaun in the past, but he was probably Patrick at the time so in a sense, Michael isn't exactly lying. Garble, I'm waffling now.

I'm not buying the twin theory at all, it doesn't feel right.

My evidence of Michael being possessed by SM and played like a puppet? Well, Slendy did in fact make a not too subtle appearance in "Curtains Up." Take a closer look at this picture again. See him?

 		Yeah I'm definitely starting to think it's a sort of Avatar/puppet thing.
I can see where it might have been Patrick the whole time, pretending to be michael, but then there are moments wehre it would seem that if that were the case, Patrick would've just dropped the act rather than continuing to be micheal.

So if it was michael in the beginning who then morphed into Patrick, what was keeping Patrick away to begin with?

Michael was. He is fully aware of the 'Patrick' inside of him, and fights to retain his real self by means of self mutilation etc. Self mutilation is not an act of self pity or a cry for help like people sometimes seem to think it is. It's usually a desperate act to remind themselves that they are alive, that they bleed, and that they can still feel something.

It makes perfect sense when you pair this up with Patrick's personality taking over to 'save' Michael from doing himself harm. Patrick does NOT want Michael to remember how to feel pain/love/hope because if he did, Michael would no longer need (believe in?) Patrick. And Patrick would no longer have power over Michael. In order for a God to live, he needs believers. Without belief, God is dead.

Woh this sounds so much like the Slendy mythos I spooked myself a little Shocked
