 		I love the new video but I agree that a crossover would not improve anything about MLA. I've never wanted to watch TJA, and hopefully never will have to. If I have to watch any TJA videos, I won't be pleased.

That being said, a crossover similar to EMH+TT would be fine. I'll just be a little bitter about it.

 		Wow. Patrick just officially became scary. Kept looking for Tall, Dark, and Slender since there was constant distortion but never spotted him.

I see what you mean about it kinda looking like Slendy is standing inside by the door 'looking' out,but unfortunately--after scrutinizing what I saw (cuz I thought it was him,too) I realize it's just the way the slats line up and the lighting and such--I am disappoint Crying or Very sad
But anyway--brutal entry!! Shocked

 		Started watching the series today, up to Video Journal #6 - Shaun. The attention to detail is pretty impressive. I'm pretty sure I'm seeing signs of mild Tardive dyskinesia and Akathisia, both possible side effects of the anti-psychotics we know Michal to be taking.

Very interesting. I just rewatched the whole thing, so I've been thinking about it lately, and analyzing why I enjoy it so much. To me, this series definitely has an air of authenticity to it that some others lack. I wonder if that's due to thorough research or experience. Of course, other series tend to focus mainly on the paranormal stuff, like teleportation and possession, with some real-life stuff thrown in. I get the opposite vibe from MLA--real-life issues like mental illness and deep-seated family/relationship problems make up the heart of the story, with some paranormal stuff thrown in. I thoroughly enjoy both approaches when they're done well; MLA just stands out to me because it's atypical, at least from the series I've seen. /fangirl wankery

On another note, what's the deal with Shaun and Michael's parents? IIRC, Michael's the only one who ever brings them up, and we know he's been in denial/out-of-touch with reality on other matters. Is their absence significant to the story, d'ya think?

Um, I'm almost up to date on the videos and I don't know if this has been brought up in the thread but that looked like the little dummy from the early EMH videos that he picked up near the start and he's talking and acting less like Slendy and more like someone who's picked up a bad HABIT. Shocked

 		I'm guessing by little dummy, you mean that weird wooden doll thing? I started this series before watching EMH, so spotting the doll in the EMH videos freaked me out a little since I'd just recently seen one in Michael/Patrick's possession. I really really really really hope Patrick is not possessed by HABIT though. That would be a crossover too far for me.

With the rest that followed I doubt it. I don't think HABIT would start calling himself Patrick. He seems a bit like HABIT in some ways though, wonder if they know each other?
