My thoughts:

The hand is fine. Complaining about Slendy having a hand is like complaining about him having a head or legs. Just because he chooses to show you a hand doesn't mean it has to always be a hand. And it is hell of creepy - it was an "I own you" kind of grasp rather than a "there there, Michael, let's go get ice cream and watch one of your favourite movies" sort of grasp.

I think I can work out a timeline of what's happened, reading between the lines:
- After the "Truth" video got posted Michael decided that he needed to show Shaun what was going on in order to make him believe.Shaun might have gone along willingly, or he might not have - I'm inclined to think he went along willingly at first because he thought it'd be a way to dispel Michael's delusions.
- Whoops, turns out they aren't delusions. Shaun absolutely freaks out and ends up in a terrible state. Maybe catatonic, maybe depressed, maybe huddled in a ball with fear. He stays over at Michael's place because he's scared to leave.
- Eric comes by and wants to know where Shaun is. Michael lies and says that Shaun isn't around. I think he is telling the truth when he says he didn't kidnap Shaun - I think Shaun came to see Slendy willingly, and he willingly stayed at Michael's place to pull himself together - but he was bullshitting when he said Shaun wasn't at his place.
- After Eric's visit Michael posts the message about Shaun being at his place to rest up. Possibly he and Shaun might have agreed on the message.
- Shaun can't accept what he saw, so he recorded the "Shaun" video and ran away.

Maybe Michael is a virus, in the sense that Slendy has been using him to get his hooks into new victims - forcing them to see him in order to break down whatever defences their willpower/stubbornness has erected? That'd explain why Slendy seems to feel possessive of Michael - he's a very useful tool.

"I tried to show him, SHARE with him"
O.K. this goes a long way into the "Michael controls slendy" theory. I don't know, this could kill a lot of the the power the series's got since it sounds like an x-men power.

I did love the slender cameos. I'm actually in the minority who feels that slendy should be closer to a human than to an eldritch abomination. Otherwise the suit is too stupid imo.

Anyone could please tell me what sees he say from 1:26 to 1:32
I understood "Shaun sees him, he's out for a stand"...

I'm pretty sure he said "he saw it firsthand"

I agree pretty sure he says "he saw it first hand"

I would like to know why in the video description it says Please Shaun, if you're are watching this... forgive me.

Well Katsieb, if you combine it with the earlier slip of the tounge...
"I didn't want to hurt hi-...I didn't hurt him!"
It could be that Michael (I think that's the main character's name) is losing time and doesn't remember his own actions.

Could also be Michael apologizing for introducing Shaun to The Slender Man and all the bullshit that comes with it.

Wow.
I loved the fact that slenderman is now so close to Michael. He's not just some omniscient dark figure in the background of a shadow that we fight to see [as viewers& sometimes taking screen shots and using paint to "adjust the white balance" and whatnot]. I like the fact that slendy was RIGHT THERE. And the way it was filmed made me go WOAH. Not scary but more like "dude.... he's... right... behind you..."

I also have mixed emotions about the hand on the shoulder. I always thought slendy had tentacles, for one. But even if he doesn't, I like the fact that slendy was there as soon as Michael said "I need someone here with me [beside me] through this". Like slendy's subtle reminder of HEY... I'M STILL HERE *creepy music*. I also like the fact that the shoulder touch may LOOK like a comforting gesture, the subtle force behind it suggests ownership on slendy's part.

But I also agree with Punk V- Maybe the And Then He Was Slenderman theory might hold some water after all...

So many shots are screencap worthy.
Anyone wanna make some jpgs? With some of the over the shoulder caps and then like "Mlandersen0" or "The Andersen Journals" in the corner?

hand on shoulder thing was awesome. i think the timing of the dialogue, the "needing someone to support me" thing is too coincidental for the hand on the shoulder to not be a "here, here, cheer up" sort of thing. which means that shaun, no matter how much of a dick he seemed to be, could possibly be right about calling michael a virus.

it's too early to know for sure, but that seems to be the direction this series is taking.

Yeah. Slendy squeezes just a little too tight for it to not be creepy.

This will not stop people writing fanfic where Slendy cheers Michael up by inviting TiMasky and HABIT and the Rake over and they go bowling or something.

Another point: it's interesting when the Slendy manifestations happen. Yeah, there's the "I need someone by me through this", which is a nice detail, but that's *after* the second appearance.

What he says immediately before the Slendy appearances is that:
- "Eric is nothing to do with this" - before the first appearance.
- "I didn't want to hurt him" - a little break - "I *didn't* hurt him" - major appearance.

What if the manifestations show when Michael is lying? Maybe Eric is more embroiled in what is going on than Michael admits. Maybe he did kind of want to hurt Shaun a little. And maybe he *has* hurt Shaun, hurt him badly. (Of course, even exposing him to Slendy could be seen as harm on one level...)

Ahh..I can see the mirror better after he gets the new camera in #3. That clears up an issue.
