Stable children can be temporarily released to visit family, and are often encouraged to as part of rehabilitating them, if all parties concerned agree it's for the best. I hadn't considered this to account for the age difference. Good call.

I'm betting Michael's doctors wouldn't have taken kindly to him being involved in whatever it was that happened to Shaun.

I wonder what Shaun's deal was with the denial when the brothers were eight. The whole dynamic between those two is one big question mark. For being his brother, Shaun seems hesitant to level with Michael on what happened (and what is still happening).

Actually, during 'The Truth', Shaun seems nervous about his roommate talking to Michael about what he thinks of his videos. When Shaun denies that there is anything happening around Michael he gets choked for his efforts. There could be a precedent for Michael going medieval on people that deny what he sees.

21 minus 16 equals five, yet the brothers were together and Michael was out of the hospital when he was eight.

I'm pretty sure, listening to the video, that he says "when you were eight" rather than "when we were eight".

But if the timeline's bothering you, why not contact Michael about it and ask for clarification, seeing how he's up for IG communication?

 		I'm getting ready to send Michael another message. I'll try to ask about the timeline issue but I am aiming more at the Doctor and Shaun. I feel that going after the timeline issue may be pushing it.

 		Thanks guys. When approaching Michael IG I am trying to use some of my own...experiences...so I can be sympathetic to him. I know how I would want to be treated in this situation so I am trying to project that. I guess having someone on this side of the curtain that has dealt with Mental Health issues, in one form or another, is an advantage... Laughing

Don't get to invested in me or my situation, Julian. It is safer to turn away. This is better than talking to a camera. But for me, not you. I don't want to hurt anyone. Turn a blind eye. It is easier that way.
