The bit with Slender Man wailing on the door gave me a serious freakout. That's coming from somebody who really isn't very frightened by Slendy videos anymore.

As much as I'm enjoying the series, at some point I would love Shaun to violently interrupt Patrick mid-sentence and kick the living shit out of him. Then just quietly go back to listening to whatever he has to say.

What makes MLA0 a good contender is the solid, continuous cinematography in the early logs, and the great acting. MH just has better editing, and TTA truly is creepy.

I don't watch very many of the vlogs out there, but of the ones I've seen, MLA0 is definitely catching up to MH. I'm a pretty diehard MH fan, and I'm even starting to doubt where my loyalties lie, because the last few posts from the Andersen boys have been mind blowing.

It's interesting that the appearances of Patrick and our Slend-friend weren't simultaneous, but sort of staggered. Like, we saw Patrick, then the Slender Man, then Slend again, and then Patrick. Unless I'm missing something?

Started watching this last night to satisfy my need for more Slender Man while I'm waiting for a new Marble Hornets video. Ended up loving it. It's interesting how their Slender Man more or less looks the same as The Operator, but has a decidedly different personality. And it doesn't hurt that Michael is a lot cuter than Jay.

The Patrick twist was unexpected, but I'm wondering if Michael actually knows about him. The first time he talked about his recurring dream, he did mention seeing another version of him; one that was able to move and was walking toward the grandfather clock. Patrick?

The Stormy video and Patrick's ability to apparently do everything the Slender Man can started me speculating on a theory about the whole red tie/black tie thing. Whatever the connection between Michael and SM is, maybe there's been some leaking between the two of them. Michael/Patrick get a bit of teleportation and Slendy develops his own alternate personality. Red Tie Slendy is creepy, sure, but he's not really done anything outright harmful other than freaking everyone out. It's Black Tie Slendy that keeps attacking Eric, starting in the alley and continuing in the house. And Patrick does seem to wear black a lot.

And on a completely irrelevant note, what is that non-piano music that keeps bleeding in in Video Journal 9? It sounds vaguely familiar.
