The reasoning sounds good to me. If you're right, that means we won't have our little tea party for about three weeks. Waiting seems to be the theme of a lot of ARG's I've participated in recently XD

I'm working with some of the folks at slendernation, which is awkward for me because all that slendy stuff gives me the heebyjeebies like you would not believe. But my point is that we've come to the same conclusion. However, I think it might be that the 18th is a deadline for something else altogether. In the past the rabbit has told us that we have the clues. This time he seems to have forgotten what info he was supposed to give us.

Good point, mute.

Looking back at the post, there doesn't seem to be any reason to connect it with the date of the party, other than the fact that he was going to tell us that originally.

I'm wondering if the content of the poem has anything to do with what February 18th means...maybe someone is going to die? Alice's counter still has 3months, 3weeks, and 3days left...

I asked him if the date of the party has anything to do with the counter for Alice's death, but no response yet... Wonder whether the Mad Hatter or Cheshire Cat will make an appearance?

Last thing - did we ever decide on whether it'd be 9:10:15 am or pm?I think that could make a pretty big difference...

My bet is on PM since most people are either at work/school during the week and sleeping on the weekends at 9:10:15 am. Also if it is the 18th it's a friday. Regardless I might just try both.

Here's the kicker though. We don't know how to get to the party. sure we have a time (maybe) a date, and a map. but the map makes no sense in terms of going someplace on the internet. The start point seems likley to be at the Rabbit's or Alice's blog unless something new happens.

Here's what I had to say about reviewing the time at slendernation:

For the time two things come to mind: The order of numbers and the
definitions.

Novenary
Unity
ṣafira
Unity
Sikh

Novenary – meaning to do with the #9. This one is the most obvious to me.

Unity – the etymology seems to point to the number 1. I'm not totally convinced that this one is right.

ṣafira – Arabic meaning to be empty. I'll ask around if that's right. Someone
around here must speak arabic. ṣafira gives Safar, the second month of the Arabic calendar, it's name. Maybe it's #2. There is still more evidence toward the 0.

The 'ṣ' isn't coloured black like the rest of the word. Could be because it
has relevance to the puzzle or it's a hint to help find the hidden text or it
could just be because it's got a strange accent and can't be coloured on
wordpress. Can someone with a wordpress page check this the last one? Searches for "afria" lead to mixed and uninteresting results.

HAHAHA disregard that the numeral 0 is pronounced "sifir" in Arabic. ṣafira
= nothing = 0.

Unity – same as above.

sikh – This was assumed to be 5 because of 5 as a common sacred number. This
was basically a guess as far as I can tell.

If we have a number wrong I think it's most likely to be sikh. Unity is a
close second.

Once we have the numbers figured we need to put them together. The Post with
the hidden words said we weren't yet looking at it right. The numbers we found are 9,1,0,1,5:

Forward is 9:10:15
Backward is 5:10:19
Upsededown is 6:10:12
Upsidedown and backwards is 2:10:16

The upsidedowns don't really fit because 5 and 2 aren't really inversions of one another.

And as usual I could be overthinking this....

That seems sound, but we might want to wait on the rabbit to give us a hint himself - he doesn't seem to be one for logic, does he? That being said, PM is probably more likely, for the reasons you stated.

Also regarding time, Allison and I have been looking at the posts by both Alice and the White Rabbit. I noticed that the rabbit tends to post in the 12 am to 1 am time frame, and she pointed out that only one time is written in numerals on Alice's blog - "2:41 am". Not sure if either have any relevance, but...

"Sikh = 5" was based on their 5 virtues, 5 obstacles, and 5 morning prayers. If it is a five, it might give evidence towards an "am" time..?

As to the forwards-backwards theory, I think you have a point. "Looking at it the right way" could definitely put it in either direction...it may be better to stick with 9:10:15 until we find a definitive hint in either direction. The upside down ones probably aren't worth worrying about.

Did you see Pryex's comment on the rabbit's blog? I thought he was going to do something, but it looks like he hasn't posted on Alice's blog yet...

We should definitely ask the rabbit for the starting place. Only thing that comes to mind is Alice's post entitled "Begin at the Beginning"...and has anyone put that static through a sound editing program yet? I doubt it's nothing - hearing voices when the rabbit seems to have been keeping tabs on her?

I've been looking at several things today, one of them being the relationship to Silent Hill. In the game you can find 18 drawings throughout. The first six are pictures of bunnies dying in different ways. The rest show the poem The white rabbit likes, the only thing interesting being that he left some parts out. He used the writings from pictures 8, 9, and 12, which would be the 3rd, 4th and 7th verses to it. I don't know, here's the page I found:
http://www.silenthillmemories.net/sh5/drawings_photos_en.htm
Second is concerning the map though. I can't print it out right now to figure it out, but I've been bothered by the fact he Capitalizes randomly.
RED, orange, YELLOW, GReen, BLUE, Indigo, violet
So I'm worried about using green since it seems a bit out of pattern... But that might just be a coincidence or to throw us off.

Alsoooooo~
According to this video, static plays whenever you get close to an enemy.
Take a listen to this, then go back to the recording Alice left us.

Alice: http://k002.kiwi6.com/uploads/hotlink?id=ixqxp7t9pr

: ) Hope this helps~

Gahh, forgot.
In a Silent Hill movie, the main antagonist is Christabella.
This may be important since the actor playing Christabella is Alice Krige.
http://silenthill.wikia.com/wiki/Christabella
The other thing is, Christabella is Killed by Alessa and Dark Alessa with rusty barbed wire, Dark Alessa dancing in her blood. Dark Alessa=evil white rabbit trying to kill Alice?

Sorry~
Last post until somebody else comments, I promise. : x
I just keep finding so many Silent Hill references. You guys should start looking too. : o
Like, look at this link, and listen carefully to the lyrics just after 3 minutes.

Who wants to bet this is the rabbits favorite song?

It's looking like there are a lot of strong connections there, Allison, so I looked closer...

http://www.silenthillmemories.net/sh5/drawings_photos/pics/photo_07.jpg
This is from the first site you linked us to. If you look closely, the title of the book appears to be...Alice in Wonderland.

http://www.silenthillmemories.net/sh5/drawings_photos/pics/photo_01.jpg
This is from the same site...looks like the rabbit keeps the "bad men" away. This might mean the rabbit is trying to help, rather than harm, Alice.

The static connection is particularly interesting...the "thing" that was chasing Alice in her dreams emitted static when it got closer. As to her being unable to see it, well... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vC2dKg4Kh4&feature=related Looks like Silent Hill's got that covered, too. Just watch the first ten seconds or so. Invisible prison inmates...according to a couple forums, they say "RITUAL" and "ARE YOU SURE?".

The rusty barbed wire reminds me of the hole she saw into her basement...but the song's lyrics don't seem to fit, except for the "too late" bit. Maybe they will later, though...

Uh, the capitalization on the map...seems intentional, especially with the different types of "E"s, but I can't make sense of it.[/url]

Alice in Wonderland — The four plates in the original Silent Hill are named after characters from the book, such as the Plate of Hatter or Plate of Queen. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was one of Alessa's favorite books. In Silent Hill: Homecoming, the boss Asphyxia looks resembles the Caterpillar.
Here Alessa comes up again, saying she liked Alice in Wonderland.
Asphyxia is the ghost of the girl in the picture who was reading Alice in wonderland. As the caption said, her favorite character was the caterpillar.
info from:
http://silenthill.wikia.com/wiki/Inspirational_works_of_Silent_Hill
So it sounds like most things are coming from Silent Hill Homecoming (Also the name of the song I linked earlier)

Hello folks! Haven't been involved with an ARG since This is my Milwaukee disappeared without a trace, but this one sounds very interesting Smile

Anyone that's played a Silent Hill game knows that the Otherworld locations of that game look exactly like that. This could just be a little wink-wink reference, although the slendy folks noted that the rabbit silhouette in the youtube video looks a lot like Robbie the Rabbit from Silent Hill 3. Perhaps Wonderland is in actuality a twisted alternate reality that Alice is being pulled into? Food for thought.

The bunny silhouette looked exactly like Robbie to me as soon as I saw it as well, combined with the static noises it really gave me a Silent Hill kind of feeling!

Me too. I was half-tempted to tell Alice to check for monsters when her radio went off with static.

Well, if you really think about some of the lyrics, it does kind of fit. Of course there's no proof yet that this song is related at all, but these lyrics kinda fit if you think about it.

"Four and twenty dead birds
They bleed upon the nest
There was no time for reasons
They had no sign of a threat."

She can't see whatever is bothering her?

"Through this fog they came along
Dark creatures singing a terrible song
The rest of the bar laughed at him
Only I felt my hope grow dim
They found him dead the very next day
No more stories from him, I heard them say

We blame bad luck, for his fate.
Only I felt terror so great."

Nobody at her school likes her, even she thinks that she's crazy. If Alice really did get hurt, or worse, do you think they'd investigate the odd things she was saying, or just say she was crazy. No more stories.

And the worst of all ( I think )

"Survive, you must have the will
This movie doesn't end the way we want
,
All the time Then he shouts at the moon.
"She's gone!" and fear has overcome."

This one speaks for itself.

For the colors on the map, the ones that are capitalzied at primary. Red, blue and yellow are subtractive primary, and red, blue green are additive primary. http://casa.colorado.edu/~ajsh/colour/primary.html

Alice's new blog post begins with a time, 11:00 am which she states "may not seem early". Does that point to PM? Also from her post, it seems like the White Rabbit isn't the evil that is hunting her. It's trying to lead her to something, maybe through riddles and games, but it isn't the awful evil.

The maze - topiary maze - seems related to the map somehow. Just by how I envision them, I guess. Also - the static is a message from the White Rabbit, and she needs to hear it un-staticed. The radio is how she will get the message?

I have to say I have no clue about any Slient Hill history, but it seems like everyone here is all on top of it, so I think I'll do some reading at the wiki and try not to scare myself.

Something tells me that the white rabbit is good, but it sounds like Robbie the Rabbit may be involved. I'm also curious about something he put on his blog,
Quote:
Isn't that just touching. I hope it moves you the same way it moves me.

Is this hinting at something? Is he trying to get us to look into Silent Hill more maybe?
