A lot of stuff to chew on here. Foreign matter is not exactly exotic matter. Whatever it is, if we are still led to believe a monster is part of the plot, that monster was probably created in some form in a cave eating this stuff--or simply being exposed to it.

1)Biospeleology any info related to the arg
2)what the hell is D12 entry (maby the long awated device)
3)who broke into joshes place
4)"the code" from the book we need josh to upload it first
5)what was in the cylinder
6)alternative energy source found in caves

* did any one ever wortk out how to mount devices on pdp maby d12 is device 12 or disc drive 12

Thanks man, was in class all day so I couldn't see it myself. So, we've been requesting big things to happen, and we get them. A lot of new info, and hopefully a heads up for more big things to happen soon.

Interesting, now we have more parts of this puzzle.
I have some ideas about D12.
1. It could be Day 12, perhaps 12th February?
2. does it have something to do with "D 56=5105" and "D 56=0"?

After all: when we find D12 entry with the rest of the book, we could decode it!

My question is: if he was Biospeleologist and dig deep into the caves, why something they found was "foreign matter"? Is it lasted here on Earth for thousands of years bevor Joshs father and his collegues found it?

Tried the remount device with the following permutations:

Plus with a "." and "/" --No joy yet, I suspect it'll be the journal.
