If that is indeed a mouth (not saying it is) it looks strikingly similar to Clover's mouth... same jawline and teeth position.

I don't know at this point...the original newspaper clipping had an ad for "Sookie & sm____ Animal Rescue".

I think that "mber 19 962" possibly refers to an expiration date of the camera film. Kind of like a "use by date".
On one of the other graphics "Super 8" used earlier, it shows some film info.
There may be a few false clues to make it more difficult to proceed. Then again, I may be way off.

I'm sure that it is OOG. However, the store is only 18 miles from Weirton, so I'm sure that the film crew got the design for their sign from this store.

Funny coincidence that "James Locke" would show up unassumingly in a JJ Abrams film Laughing

The formatting is consistent. It means [YEAR PRICE]. It's not a phone number.

Guys just because we SAW 1962 in the trailer DOESN'T mean that the film is going to take place then. To be honest if it did then the "kids filming a zombie movie" theory wouldn't make much sense because the modern vision of the zombie wasn't introduced until 1968. So I vote that its still 1979. The kids are filming their movie when they see the crash, trying to outrun the debris and whatnot they drop the camera (as seen in the trailer) which continues to record. It captures whatever is inside the boxcar escaping and is now incriminating evidence against the government (or something). Not wanting to be found out the military is sent in to try and stop them from squealing to the press, under the guise of some sort of evacuation (hence the buses). Whatever is inside the car is extremely powerful and might be something that maybe calls the aliens down to earth or something (or maybe is an alien) and we end up in a darker version of E.T.

If I am right about the darker E.T. I admit I'll be a bit disappointed. This new trailer seems to be a bit lighter in mood than the mysterious and frightening feeling the first one gave us. In fact the kid reminds me a lot of Elliot from E.T.

How do the Rocket Poppeteers fit in? Well I know someone who was in the area where they were filming last October and she said that she has seen Captain Coop here and there in the town. Not entirely sure how Josh Minker, his father, Mysterio and the Coelocanth will fit in, other than maybe the roll of film Josh mentioned is the same one that captured the train crash.

Not to mention in the trailer a voice says "Do not speak of this....if you do THEY will find you" Maybe the voice is Mysterio and the "THEY" are the same ones mentioned in the recent PDP chat log. Maybe Mysterio is this new Elliot lookalike kids we saw in the trailer and is now trying to make contact with his friend's son.

Also remember in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" how at the end a select few were chosen to go along with the little aliens into space? What if Josh's dad IS one of the people chosen to go? It would certainly explain his absence. But then again I'm probably just reaching.

Is it possible that the bulletin board we are analyzing is simply a board where they find a posting about making a movie and this is why they are making their zombie film?

Actually Guys, the genre of the movie, as referred by Wiki and Youtube, as well as the movie site itself, is Action, Horror, Thriller. When I saw this, it occured to me that the alien is huge, and possibly unfriendly, violent even, hence "Horror", The Action and Thriller is going to be the suspense build up and the things that the people of the town under attack and quarantine of the government, as well as the kids, do to survive. Sounds pretty good to me...but I'm only paying to see it three times. That's it.

Ok, to clarify: The train is moving stuff from Area 51 to Ohio in 1979. The train crashes in Ohio and the kids are at the train tracks filming when the train crashes. They capture on film the "thing" escaping the train and possibly the havoc it reeks on the nearby town of Lillian. The film is evidence and the government would not want it going public. In 1979, A. Minker is working at Area 51 and possibly has to move with the train stuff to Ohio. Josh is a teenager at this point and possibly moves with his father to Ohio. A Minker is lost at the time of the crash and Josh and his mother have to get on with their lives.
Fast forward to 2011 - Josh is an adult working for some sort of paper company. His has an interest in fish and starts a blog, then creates his own website with blog. Josh's mother passes away, he has to go through stuff she had and comes across the super 8 film footage and wants to confirm it somehow. He posts looking for someone to authenticate the footage and is contacted by Mysterio to stop posting pubicly. Josh puts a few things up on Craigslist but is told to take the listings down, there might be something important in her stuff. Mysterio knows A Minker and that he can help Josh find his father.
I don't think we know where Josh lives for sure, perhaps in Ohio. Josh is an adult in 2011. The kids making the film would be adults in 2011.
Rocket Poppeteers is a huge mystery as the original newspaper advertisement was a 1979 newspaper, and in 2011 RP is making a comeback with recruiting and a 2011 website. We have yet to discover the link between RP in 2011 and the train incident in 1979.

Please add and correct if needed, but's that's basically what I'm getting so far.
