2nd email Remember they said the number of letters for the second email is no coincidence. And that he wants you to figure out which "denizen of the underworld" he is.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The number of letters in the second email is equal to the number of letters in the first email.

Are you hinting at another anagram?

On a plane to San Fran right now and I am no closer to finding this second email after 7 days of working on it. I hope they release a hint tomorrow, or if any of you have it I would love if you could share.

I have tried searching for names of Denizens of the Underworld that have 8 letters in their name too, with no luck. You would think it would be an anagram but no luck switching the letters around yet. Im half tempted to email to every combination of the letters lol.

The 2nd email is NOT an anagram and it contains EXACTLY 8 letters.

My first reaction is to commend imhaet for operating in a thoroughly dishonest fashion. Even so, I feel obliged to correct this bit of misdirection. People shouldn't be forced down the wrong path.
Here's the deal. It is an anagram for the first email. Spells out the name of a "denizen of the underworld." Try to figure it out by switching the letters around. Oh, and Mike may have hidden a clue in a recent article.

so the name from the first email anagramed into the name of the denizen of the underworld?

I must apologize, for it was not my intention to misdirect. The 2nd email really is an anagram from the first email - all eight letters, no spaces. Since I arrived to the solution from a very different angle, I didn't realize it until now.
