Don't use kaitei no mitsu as a basis to strongly tie this to Cloverfield. Remember that Tagruato makes Slusho, which appeared in Star Trek..
THIS IS REALLY THE NEXT STAR TREK!
(Get my point?)
Heroes had Slusho, so has Fringe. The Observer from Fringe has appeared at Nascar and NFL events. Does that mean Jimmie Johnson is really a shapeshifter and Matt Parkman is fixing the Superbowl?

Yeah, indeed.
Kaitei no mitsu was just a little wink to the Cloverfield fans, but has no other connection to Cloverfield universe. Or say so: JJ Abrams universe is multiuniverse, and you can always find some connection between them.
But these connections are meta-intertextuality, so we should smile and keep in mind, that the authors of this universe keep us in mind . Perhaps they read our thread and make some hints for us just to be happy like Slusho!-Drinker.

True. Stephen King use the same technique within many of its books. It is a good way to hook your reader and expand a large background story without loosing much focus on each main stories.

ingredients I've read all the threads over the last few months and get the Cloverfield tie. So I get the Kaitei No Mitsu tie in. What about the other crazy ingredients? Have they been used before? Sentient Flan, Alpha Oxidem Starscape Acid, Geminitrate, Velocitation Extract, Blue Eclipse? They sound like word salad of some sort or confabulation. Are they new, or old words?

Marking everything with Slusho -- territorial behavior -- reminding everyone who it belongs to. Of course, mostly to keep loyal fans Slusho! Smiley!
Has anyone used a Droid X to access rocketpoppeteers.com since the relaunch? I had no trouble before -- but now get the constant reload. I hope they don't make it accessible only by Iphone. Is there a Droid app for that?

So... What the hell? When did the RP site start not supporting Firefox?!?
Now, when I go to the site, my only options are to download either Chrome or Safari?!?
That's unheard of!

I downloaded Safari for PC after deciding it must be better than Chrome which lasted all of about a day before i was forced to give it the boot. Safari lasted 20 mins and in that time it crashed twice!
Shall be going on my mac to view rocketpoppeteers.com from now on (which has no problem running safari or rocketpoppeteers.com despite it being 6 years old!

Site doesn't load at all in Chrome.
I give up.
ETA: The site's apparently, at least partly, in Shockwave... Why would Chrome or Safari be a requirement?

Grrr.... lazy checkers not noting that IE8 doesn't work (on it's own) but saying that only 7 and below don't work.
So it looks like the certificates still don't work. Right?
