Well we can't just have "BOO HI IM SLENDY/MASKY" everywhere. That would get old and not as creepy anymore. This is about story and setting, and yeah, it was uneventful, but later we'll see something related to that shack and it'll be a EUREKA moment. Which, to me, is very satisfying. I like the buildup of a setting/storyline in this series.

Plus, J actually talked in this video :3 (He's my favorite 'character' in this little series, so...I liked that) He's more human now! ^^ I think there was something mentioned about character development for J. Everyone seems so robotic up until J left and went to the hotel he was just at.

I think what's happening here is we waited almost 3 weeks for 4 minutes of footage of an abandoned building with none of our questions answered. I don't require scares in every Entry, but there just doesn't seem much here to discuss or be interested in.

Thats the best part of this episode, even if, for some reason, this entry doesn't branch out, at least it made J more of a personable character, maybe now instead of him opening a video, listing his symptoms and then back to white on black text and video, he may actually involve the audience more.

They obviously have a direction they are going with this. Like the first time Jay went to the house, there wasn't a whole lot if anything in that episode either. I believe that this entry has potential to lead to great things.

If you remember, season one also had a lot of random "build up" or "filler" clips. Not every one of them had something scary in them, there was a clip of random raw footage from Marble Hornets, the clip of 7 different clips on 12 videos, and many others.

On the flip side, I understand where the frustration is coming from as well. It doesn't seem like a lot of depth for that long of wait.

i THINK THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY WERE HOPING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THE ORIGiNAL HOUSE CLIP, WHERE SO MUCH REALLY HAPPENED (EVEN THE FIRST TIME HE WENT THERE) woops, sry bout caps, anyway.

People had expected so much from this, go watch some season one, that stuff crawled by at times, but it built up the atmosphere for later in the season when stuff actually happened.

P.S. I'm gonna cry when J dies at the end of this Sad

God, people just love complaining about everything. Could you people remember that this is an AMATEUR production made by a couple of college students. You people should be amazed that the level of work we have gotten has been so incredible. So you had to wait a few weeks for the entry because they had their OWN schedules to work with. Big whoop. They still worked hard with their own problems to get it out as fast as they could. You can't expect every single entry to be at the level of quality and excitement. Find me one TV show or comic book where every single episode was perfect. They aren't going to reveal all their secrets out to you at once. If they did that, the series would be much shorter. You guys need to stop your feeling entitled and stop taking everything for granted, and maybe try ENJOYING something for once instead of looking for everything that you don't like.

So he goes to the return address, finds nothing. at this point he doesn't really have any other leads. i'm guessing something catastrophic had to have happened real soon or else he'd have just tweeted "found nothing... guess it's all over! LOL."

I'm pretty sure he has a bunch more tapes to go through.

We'll definitely see more of this house. I don't think Troy and Joseph are so foul they'd throw something the size of a tractor trailer at us, only for it to be a red herring. Thinking back through Season 1, there wasn't anything Jay put up that was significantly misleading (sure, some small things, but most of it was pretty damn relevant). If he found this house 'interesting' I don't think they could leave it at that narratively if they want any of us to keep watching their series.

I hope TTA posts some more videos soon.l

I miss his videos. They gave me purpose.

It's hard to tell here. Looking at his YouTube account every once in a while, it's a bit unlikely imo that he'll be back soon unless it's a very sudden revival of the account. It's been hovering at 'Last Visit Date: 1 year' for a while now. That said, I'm totally with you on wanting to see TTA respond in some way/shape/form. Whether or not TTA = Masky, he/they definitely have some sort of companionship (I hesitate to say friendship... can't imagine what a night in would be like... arts-and-crafts with Masks..?) and if Masky is back, I'm pretty sure TTA won't be MIA for the whole season, even if it's interactions in a different capacity.

In response to some of the speculation about the issue with this house and the return address, I don't see why this house (if you can call it a house, really... no bathroom or anything it'd seem) couldn't be the place he was addressed to. Yeah,
we have a jump forward in time, but not far - Jay's still in the same outfit, and it has started raining ('Looks like rain'...).

It could just be a house on a property (twinkats' "Theory A"), or it could be that the path this house is at the end of leads to a road where the address marks. I've seen it before, especially in more rural areas, so it's not a huge stretch that this is actually the return address Jay was being led to. I definitely don't think we really have any evidence that Jay teleported or that this is a significantly different point in time/space.

I was going to lurk until MH had some audience involvement, but I had to point out your house of leaves reference.

Ya this just seems like filler/ set up to me. I suspect it also indicates that we will be getting entries more regularly.

The shack could be just a scary thing they threw in that has no significance whatsoever. They could have been just driving and saw it and said "Oooh, a creepy place! We should film here!"

Kind of like the face in entry #22.

yes i understand that this is an amateur production but if there just giving us nonsense there is no point in doing it anymore, they should either get their shit together or just quit while their ahead so we dont have to remember marble hornets as turning into a bunch of bullshit

I'm liking this as a starting point for what someone else referred to as "Act 2" of season 2, but I've got to say... it took three weeks to film that? I mean I know they were doing other filming, and college work and whatnot... but three weeks for walking around a house?

I'm trying to say this in the least douchebaggy way but I mean.. I dunno, I was expecting a little more after such a long wait.

No, Troy said on his blog that this semester he has more hours to do for college then last semester so he was behind on Marble Hornets. At least its better then season 1 where we waited for months just guessing. Btw I recommend reading Troy's blog >.> you can actually guess on when he will upload anew video

Care to link to his blog? I can't find it. Thanks.

i understand the wait was excruciating...but not every entry has to be scary...

even though i did jump when the wooden slab or whatever it was fell over

clearly this place has some significance or else J wouldn't have posted a video about it. he said on twitter how most of the tapes were of him driving, which we obviously don't care to see him do unless it leads to somewhere important..
