Don't forget, what J is going to post this time around is completely different from what he was posting in season 1. When he was uploading Alex's content, he was uploading only what to him was significant. This Time around, anything that, to him, is out of character in his mind will be something note worthy, like how at the end he notes that all he did was skim the top of what is his best clue at the time. Anyways, this could have been a one time thing, to move the story away from Alex. Or this could be the new Red Tower, for all we know this isn't No climax as much as it is setting up something bigger down the line, or next entry.

It just looks like another house to me

4. Regarding the house: How do we know this is where the tape from #26 was sent from? He cut the camera, and never speaks during the house segment to let us know that that is the return address.

He could very well have stopped at a random house in a fairly isolated looking area. But... why? Well, abandoned places can be interesting places to film, but why would he just stop somewhere unless he was getting SDD or... I don't know what.

Maybe I've been too absorbed with EverymanHYBRID, but this immediately smacks of video editing to me. Like Jay did legitimately record that first bit first, but then after it cut, he switched tapes, and switched back to record this house.

So as to put all the boring junk on one tape? J sure picked a great tape to examine then.

I kid, I kid. I can't figure out what would lead him to go to this house though. Especially after he taped the other place.

Crazy theory time: could this house be Masky's prior to him becoming Masky?

I imagine that after hours of footage of driving, Jay found this to be exceptionally different. Next time: "OH GOD A WASP HIT MY WINDSHIELD! IT SOUNDED LIKE A ROCK!"

If Masky is Tim, he lived right near Brian, which was the house we saw all through season 1. Since Jay was driving for a long time, I'm assuming this is pretty far away from there... so no, I don't think that'd add up.

This maybe an odd thing to say, but I don't think that was a residence. There's only two rooms that we can see. Some kind of council/government building? School house? I have no idea. But out of game at least, I don't see that being someone's home. Y'know. Before it became a derelict dump. Confused

There are such a thing as poor people, you know?

Also, I liked this entry personally. Its a great set-up for things to come. You can't just try to continually build on scares more and more and more, eventually you'll start repeating. This is the way to tell a Story.

I'm liking this as a starting point for what someone else referred to as "Act 2" of season 2, but I've got to say... it took three weeks to film that? I mean I know they were doing other filming, and college work and whatnot... but three weeks for walking around a house?

I'm trying to say this in the least douchebaggy way but I mean.. I dunno, I was expecting a little more after such a long wait.

I would guess that there are probably subsequent entries that needed more time to fill but they didn't want a lot of time between the to ruin the flow.

Also I think this question raises some very important questions about Alex and/or whoever sent the tape to Jay. If Alex sent the tape and the address, why? Why would he lead Jay to such a desolate shack with nobody there. Is he possessed maybe? If Alex DIDN'T send the tape, how did that person acquire the footage? Perhaps this person got the content from Alex, or would it be outside the realm of possibility that perhaps this footage never happened? Maybe Slenderma/Masky can put things in videos that never happened? Who knows?

This.

I doubt Troy went out filming for just one entry's worth of footage, and I'd venture to guess a few 'visits' to this house (or some other places-of-interest) were shot at the same time to save on travel and... y'know, time. That's (generally) how you go about shooting anything, you do it location-by-location.

I'm not at all disappointed in this. I'm loving the development (especially the humor) of Jay (I like him a lot more than Alex, honestly) and I think it's good setup. We're about to start seeing the 'missing months', I can't see why one video's worth of setup is such a downer. I know it's been three weeks, but consider that Jay's probably going to look through tapes more than once a week now (OOG: Troy's gonna probably post a bit more regularly for at least a little while now that they have footage).

And from reading through the past few pages I kind of already know the answer to this, but I'm guessing I'm not the only one who found the freakin' trash bag scarier than the 'BANG'-scare? Creepy as hell...

I have to say, ho-lee-shit. While it could certainly be argued that it's a coincidence, I would strongly disagree. It looks almost exactly like it, in my opinion, and if it is it, then that could have some strong implications. Specifically, why would he go back to his hometown after leaving it because of everything?
