thankyouthankyouthankyou. while i'm not totally convinced that tothepark isn't somehow connected, i'm pretty positive skully is the biggest red herring of all time.


I really look at that entry as a glorified trailer for this season. Esp. that 30 seconds or so of crazy shit that skully was in. I think we will meet skully this season, but that's just me.

I think you misinterpreted my theory. I do not think Jessica is Masky. I just am suspicious that she might be totheark. I don't even think Masky and totheark are the same person. Haha.

I think Masky would be totheark. Masky=Tim. Tim makes his debut in entry #9. The first totheark response "Regards" is posted as a video response. Coincidence? I think not!

Never bought the whole Masky = TTA either. The tone of the TTA videos featuring Masky seem to implicate rather than boast or support. Masky is definitely male, I don't know if it's always Tim or not but time will tell I guess.

But does Jessica being TTA actually change anything? Does anything click into place if that's an actual piece of the puzzle? Certainly some of the TTA entries start to look weird. Why would she be in the house? Or filming Jay getting batteries or anything else like that.

Frankly, I'm going to go a bit meta here (WARNING, META) but the theory that Jess is tothark holds very little water. In the interview with Troy and Joseph, they said that very little, if any, concrete planning for season two had started even as season one ended. Jess is a purely season two entity. Totheark was present for most of season one. Unless it's a retcon (which, god I hope not) there is little chance that Jess is totheark.

(META OVER)

I continue to be in the camp that Tim=Masky=totheark.

Masky looks like Tim and has artifacts that link him to Tim (Pills, jacket, sideburns).

Jay, breaking his habit of not speculating out loud to us, suspects that Masky and totheark are the same.

Totheark videos have featured Masky's mask.

Tim's face is seen in a totheark video (Messages).

After seeing Tim in the interview, Jay gets a tip that leads him to the house where he meets masky twice later on.

Totheark has video of Jay wandering that house from the time that Jay didn't see masky (though he heard things that were out of place).

Masky was in Jay's room the night of 19, which was later referenced to be the same night as the totheark video Return.

Totheark's first video was in response to a video featuring Tim.

This theory takes the fewest leaps and is therefore the most watertight, in my own humble opinion. Poke some legitimate holes in it.

 		Hey guys, I'm getting my tires changed and I'm in the waiting room, but when I get home I'm going to take a crack at getting more out of the fragments of pictures. Not that it really matters I suppose, Red Herring did a pretty great job, but I've got nothing better to do. Anything else I should analyse in Entry 34/Fragments?

 		Hey, I have a question thats off-topic a bit.

I'm unclear on what OOG means.
I'm pretty sure its for "Out Of Game", but I don't know what that means.

Does that mean like a civillian walking around in the background of an entry was an unintentional OOG?

Yes, OOG means "out of game," and yes, the example you listed would be a good example. Another might be that the creators couldn't get the same room back for filming, and so, out of game, Jay was forced to switch rooms, but the creators hope that in-game the players don't notice the change and attribute it to teleportation. Not that that is necessarily the issue happening in entry 34, but people presented that as an OOG example of what might have happened. Sometimes OOG things might also lead to metagaming, such as my theory above.

Well what I picked up from context is that, say the guys did an interview and said something, although it was never stated in any of the videos or related websites it was said OOG, (out of game) like for example the person that plays masky also plays Tim, this is an OOG reason to believe the theory masky=Tim.

Metagaming is when you use OOG examples or reasoning to some up with in-game theories. Such as- Jay doesn't talk to us personally much in the first season, and when he does, it turns out that he says that he suspects that TTA and Masky are the same person. Oh, I've already been using that term in my own theories without knowing it was officially called metagaming.
