I think that a lot of Boards of Canada reminds me of MH, especially Beware The Friendly Stranger....so creepy with a static or crackling noise and just yeah no bueno ><

Each one has well a lot behind them but I'll just give a quick sentence about each

Swing
Wanted to do something that was offsetting and had to deal potentially with a child having a good time/potentially that time being ruined.

The Trees Are Burning
Basically wanted something really friggin creepy pretty much just watching the forest burn down whilst Slendy might be looking on...

Teleportation
Based off of the Door Ways, it was a pretty out of nowhere thing so that's why it picks up after a minute of silence

Memory Loss
Well just something that's disturbing. The interference type noise at the end is supposed to symbolize the Operator being near/affecting the memories

I Am Always Watching
You can skip this one, it's pretty much random crazy noise. I was sort of trying to go for a seeing through the eyes of the Operator type thing.

A Walk Through The Woods
Everything starts off great but he's there. You continue through the woods, but then you think you see something out the corner of your eye. Distortion = ran into Operator

Misty Morning
Pretty much just a bit more quieted and subtle song, just meant to be a bit chilling, he might be there he might not.

Masky
Maksy is pretty much associated with a lot of distortion but I feel he has more of a personality so I gave him so good rhythm/melody.

Dead Animals
Just wanted to make something super creepy(since the Operators little presents are just that) but also tried to design it as if it was a totheark response music.

Slender Has The Rights To Children
A BoC reference. Pretty much he is around a lot of kids and the heavy distortion is because he's excited/doing terrible things.

So yeah that's that...

PS tried to listen to them all the way through without stopping in the wee hours of the morning....couldn't do it...

Carmen McRae's "Just A Little Lovin'" (GB Remix)

The reason is because it's used in a mattress advertisement that was playing before the MH videos when I started watching them. I watched like the first 30 in one day, so now that song and the videos are forever associated in my head. Haha.
